Ted Stevens bids farewell to Senate

Republican Sen. Ted Stevens address the Senate for a finale time today. He was saluted with a standing ovation by his Senate colleagues.

Stevens is leaving the Senate a defeated man after losing a close election to Democrat Mark Begich and being convicted on seven felony conspiracy counts. “I look forward to the day when I can remove the cloud that currently surrounds me,” said Stevens.
