Gov. Rod Blagojevich briefly spoke to reporters as he prepared to go for a jog. The Governor said he was “dying” to speak to tell his story to the people of Illinois but told reporters to “hang loose.”

“I can’t wait to begin to tell my side of the story and to address you guys and most importantly the people of Illinois. That’s who I’m dying to talk to,” said Blagojevich. He indicated that he may hold a more formal press conference within days.

Although the ground was covered with ice, the Governor was preparing to go for a run. Exercise helps “clear the mind” and “keeps love in your heart,” he said.
