Vice President Dick Cheney told ABC News that the U.S. would have invaded Iraq regardless of whether they had weapons of mass destruction. Well known neoconservative Frank Gaffney told Matthews that there was no choice but to invade Iraq which resulted in the deaths of 4,000 Americans.

“My position is that it’s regrettable that any Americans died. It is regrettable that they had to die, but I believe they did have to die,” said Gaffney.
