A Muslim family say they were removed from an airplane after discussing which seat would be the safest.

One of the family members, Atif Irfan explained, “Basically, my wife and I and my sister-in-law were walking into the plane, we’re discussing normally where we would sit, the wings or the center of the plane. We’ve been told it’s the safest place to site. So, we were just discussing the safest place in case something happens to the plane. What’s the best place to sit. Should we sit by the wing, in the back of the plane? In doing that discussion, we were very careful not to use any of the key words or buzz words like ‘bomb’ or ‘terrorist’ or ‘threat’, anything that would allude to anything or would put us in a situation that would be volatile.”
