The Daily Show’s resident expert, John Hodgman, has a solution for the economic crisis. Hodgman suggested making cocaine available at every cash register. “I have discovered that the substance cocaine makes people feel very confident,” he explained.

Hodgman also called for an “emergency Christmas tomorrow” to give consumers a reason to spend. “There are only 14 shopping hours left. Shop, shop, let’s go!”
