Markets lower after Gibbs won’t rule out bank nationalization

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs refused to rule out government taking control of some banks today during the White House press briefing. MSNBC host John Harwood speculated that investors may have reacted by selling of stocks in response to Gibbs’ comments.
