Fred Thompson: I want President Obama to fail

Fred Thompson told CNN’s John Roberts that he doesn’t want Barack Obama to succeed as president. “I want his policies that I believe take us in the wrong direction to fail,” Thompson said.

“Well, that’s the same saying you want him to fail, isn’t it?” asked Roberts.

“Well, you know, we’re quibbling over words… you can put it any way that you want to,” said Thompson.
