A Maryland Congressman has offered legislation which would pull funding from a local university if the school’s theater screened pornographic material. Students at College Park are fighting for their right to see “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge,” an X-rated film that reportedly costs $10 million to make.

Students protested by viewing excerpts of the film in a lecture room Monday night. WMAR’s Linda So reported that several universities across the nation have screened “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge.”
