5 US lawmakers arrested during Darfur protest
MSNBC is reporting that 5 members of Congress have been arrested in front of the Sudanese embassy while taking place in a protest against the violence in Darfur. Rep. Keith Ellison, Rep. Lynn Woolsey, Rep. James McGovern, Rep. Donna Edwards and Rep. John Lewis were all led away in handcuffs.
