Employees fired for private online discussions

Most employees know that employers can watch their electronic messages at work but two restaurant workers in New Jersey lost their jobs for messages sent from home to a password-protected discussion group. Bartender Brian Pietrylo and his girlfriend, waitress Doreen Marino were fired from Houston’s restaurant when their employers discovered disparaging comments in a private MySpace discussion group.
