Fox’s Juan Williams thinks that Democrats should proceed with investigations into Bush officials who justified and authorized harsh interrogations. Williams advised that Democrats shouldn’t be discouraged by criticism due to their knowledge of what tactics were being used.

“If the Democrats are serious about it, if they are principled about it, they will go forward. And the pushback by the Republicans to say that for one, some the Democrats knew about it at the time and were caught up in the frenzy around 9/11 and did not object — let the Democrats be subjected to the criticism from the far left that says you should have raised objections at the appropriate time. But if they are truly about the principle of whether or not torture should not be allowed then let that be the issue,” Williams told Fox’s Chris Wallace.
