FireDogLake’s Emptywheel reported:

Bob Graham just appeared on WNYC’s Brian Lehrer Show. In addition to repeating earlier reports that he was never briefed on waterboarding, Graham revealed that the first time he asked the CIA when he was briefed on torture, it claimed it had briefed him on two dates when no briefing took place.

Partial transcript from The Brian Lehrer Show:

GRAHAM: Mr. Zelikow makes the assumption that the CIA records are incontestable in their accuracy. In fact, when I asked the CIA, “On what dates was I briefed?” They gave me four dates. Two in April. Two in September of ’02. On three of the four occasions when I consulted my schedule and my notes it was clear that no briefing had taken place on that date and the CIA eventually concurred.
