The hosts of Fox & Friends are convinced that bringing Guantanamo detainees to U.S. prisons would put Americans in danger. The hosts echoed the concerns of FBI Director Robert Mueller that suspected terrorists could “radicalize” U.S. prisoners.

Fox host Brian Kilmeade pointed to an alleged terror plot that was disrupted by the FBI and New York City officials Wednesday. “Where was this plot hatched? In prison. Gitmo is a prison. What are we doing with those guys? We’re bringing to our prison to talk to other people — 240 strong — about a potential plot. Convert more to radical Islam,” exclaimed Kilmeade.

But former New York Times reporter Judith Miller disagreed. “I’m sorry. I was actually in a jail with — one floor away from Zacarias Moussaoui. One of the [terrorists]. We know how to do this. Believe me, we can do it,” Miller said.
