Steele slips: Sotomayor critics are ‘immature’

What does Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele think of claims by Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives that Judge Sonia Sotomayor is “racist?” Steele told CNN’s Kiran Chetry that such attacks were “immature and inappropriate” before correcting himself. “I think that any rush to judgment at this point is immature and inappropriate. I don’t think that — rather premature. I don’t think that we need to jump on hot rhetoric at this point,” Steele said.
