Leahy still favors truth commission

Attorney General Eric Holder is consider prosecution for CIA officials who broke the law while interrogating detainees. Sen. Patrick Leahy would rather see a more wide-ranging truth commission. “I’ve always preferred my idea of a commission of inquiry to look at all these issues, whether people broke the law or whether as some feel some in the past administration actually wrote memos telling people that they could break the law, that somehow they were above the law,” said Leahy.
