Coulter McCainConservative boldnames Ann Coulter and Meghan McCain have had a very public dispute that doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon. Coulter may have inflamed the conflict Saturday when she compared McCain to one of Tiger Woods’ alleged mistresses who has been accused of being a prostitute.

“Wait, Meghan McCain had an affair with Tiger Woods,” Coulter joked on Fox News Channel’s Red Eye.

Mediaite first noticed that Coulter compared McCain to Jamie Jungers. Some have speculated that Wood’s alleged mistress took money for sex. Jungers has denied the charge.

In March, Meghan McCain slammed Coulter in her column at The Daily Beast.

To make matters worse, certain individuals continue to perpetuate negative stereotypes about Republicans. Especially Republican women. Who do I feel is the biggest culprit? Ann Coulter. I straight up don’t understand this woman or her popularity. I find her offensive, radical, insulting, and confusing all at the same time.

While Coulter did not respond directly, the column led McCain to a war with some on the right. Laura Ingraham called McCain a “Valley Girl” and then ridiculed her weight problems. “Ok, I was really hoping that I was going to get that role in The Real World, but then I realized that, well, they don’t like plus-sized models,” Ingraham said on her radio show.

In April, Rush Limbaugh suggested that McCain and her father should both leave the Republican party. McCain responded on Twitter, “RED TIL I’M DEAD BABY!!! I love the republican party enough to give it constructive criticism, I love my party and sure as hell not leavin!”

McCain is a prolific tweeter whose topics often includes sex. “‘sex, church and chicken’ should be copyrighted and put on t-shirts immediately,” McCain wrote in one of her most recent tweets. In October, she caused a controversy after tweeting a picture of her cleavage.

“How did she have the time [to have an affair with Tiger Woods] between Twittering?” Red Eye host Greg Gutfield joked after Coulter.

However, Temple University’s Dr. Marc Lamont Hill objected to the comparison: “That’s not funny, she’s a friend of mine.”
