The U.S. should set the example and lead. A country where the only ones who have rights are white males. The U.S. has to get over the idea that all peoples should be christians and just like us. We need to get our nose out of the middle east and tend to our own affairs. We have more than enough to keep us busy. This notion that it is imperative all people of the world have to be christian preaches intolerance and sets christians up as judgemental hypocrite. How about correcting that to “YET ANOTHER test of Muslim tolerance”? My Muslim friends and neighbors have had their tolerance tested beyond what I would find remotely tolerable. Being white, of course, tolerance of whatever norm I obviously embody is something I’ve historically assumed was a given.
