I agree. BUT, employers are also responsible with paying State taxes and fees for each employee. If the employer fails to collect or remit those fees properly, the employer is committing a crime. The State is losing out on properly owed taxes and fees that now have to be made up by legally abiding employers.

Starving, homeless, sick American-born citizens, let alone immigrants scramble to do what they have to so that people like Meg will kick loose some of the medicine, food, or housing they abosolutely have to have to survive and be productive in society. Whitman is pure garbage. A worthless child of luck and privilege. The maid may have filled out a form in bad faith, but I am sure she did excellent work worth far more than she was paid. Yeah, I was thinking along a different set of lines, but it leaves us with the question of “Who is Meg?”

At the time she fired the housekeeper, why didn’t she set her up with a nice retirement package? Or better yet, a year or two abroad. How much would it have cost Meg to let this woman vacation on a nice sunny South Pacific Isle for a year or two? It would have been a drop in the bucket compared to the hundred million or so Meg has spent on her campaign. Talk about pennywise and pound foolish!

But Meg didn’t get to where she is by being nice (even when it might be in her best interest). She told the housekeeper to get lost, that she didn’t know her. That’s how Meg treats the little people that are no longer useful to her.
