If the Saints (as the Pilgrims called themselves, others called them Separatists) dabbled in Communism it was an experiment and due to necessity. They came from a society deeply indoctrinated in trade, commerce and capitalism. At the time the sun never set on England’s commercial empire and one of the largest companies the world has ever seen, the British East India Trading Company was at its height at the time. If you are stranded on a life-boat with a few people about to starve, you ration out the food equally, I’m not sure that treating each person’s right to life equally is communism, I thought that is what our country was founded on. “All men created equal,” “The right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness” and all that?

You know who were communists? Native Americans! And very successful ones at that. The fact is the Saints/Separatists/Pilrims were celebrating a VERY meager “feast” when they shot their muskets off into the air. According to Edward Winslow’s letter of 1622, The Massasoit showed up with 90 men fearing an ambush or war. When they understood it was supposed to be a feast, taking pity on the starving foreigners, the Communist Natives out of the goodness of their hearts went out and shortly returned with five deer and lots of turkeys.

This allowed the Saints/Separatists/Pilgrims, whether communist or capitalist, to live on to visit the worst holocaust on Earth upon the Native Americans.

Most people aren’t aware that he was on television for a short time and failed badly, as he didn’t have adequate control of his audience (the way he does on radio) and was incapable of debating audience members about his bizarre assertions. The man is a fraud, and he blusters constantly to cover it up. There’s a good reason that this hypocrite consumed so much oxycontin that it destroyed his hearing: insecurity. No matter how much these people want to rewrite the story, the Pilgrims were a group so strident in their cult-like view of Protestantism, that the English crown was only too glad to get rid of them. It’s not like the crown gave the Pilgrims any help – they didn’t even have any farm implements or fishing tackle. Imagine sitting next to Cape Cod, with cod and lobster jumping out of the bay, starving to death while praying to God to make the whole place a paradise. Where they should have been thinking out their mission, preparing carefully and arriving ready to survive in a new ecosystem, these extremists were sitting around dying, and depending on the bewildered Wampanaug to bring them food just to get through.
