Assange threatens to release ‘poison pill’ if arrested or killed

There is a new threat from the founder of the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.

Julian Assange will release a “poison pill” that contains a “deluge” of secret information if he is killed, arrested or his website is permanently shut down, Daily Mail reports.

“Due to recent attacks on our infrastructure, we’ve decided to make sure everyone can reach our content. As part of this process we’re releasing archived copy of all files we ever released,” WikiLeaks said in a message on its site.

WikiLeaks says it has another 250,000 cables it plans to gradually release over coming months — if it can.

Anticipating the US attempts to block it though, WikiLeaks has taken the precaution of posting a big, 1.4-gigabyte file encrypted with a 256-digit key said to be unbreakable.

Titled “insurance.aes256″, the file was big enough to contain all the US cables said to be in WikiLeaks’s possession.

The encryption makes it unreadable until the key is supplied — at which time all its contents would be available to those who downloaded it from torrent-feeding sites such as ThePirateBay.org.

“It’s a ticking time bomb with a remote fuse,” one expert told NBC News. “So this bomb can go off the second that they release the key and the key will spread around the internet in a matter of seconds.”

Appearing on the BBC, Assange’s lawyer defended the move. “They need to protect themselves,” Mark Stephens said. “This is what they believe to be a thermo-nuclear device effectively in the electronic age.”

WikiLeaks has been under constant cyber attacks since it began releasing the secret US diplomatic cables.

WikiLeaks’ DNS host, EveryDNS.com, killed the domain last week, according to an update posted to WikiLeaks’ Twitter account.

The host cited “mass attacks,” the whistleblower organization said.

It’s not the first technical snag WikiLeaks has encountered in recent days. The site was down entirely most of last Wednesday after its host, Amazon.com, abandoned WikiLeaks as well, forcing them to move back to a mirror in Sweden. Service on the domain has been sporadic since then.

The site is now only accessible via an IP address: 213.251.145.96. Mirrors pointing to the address have popped up at WikiLeaks.de, WikiLeaks.fl, WikiLeaks.nl.

Even as WikiLeaks servers remain online, some organizations are blocking access to the site.

The White House told government agencies to take measures to prevent employees without proper authorization from accessing the secret cables.

It reminded them that “each federal employee and contractor is obligated to protect classified information” and said that a public release of classified documents did not mean they had been declassified.

“Unauthorized disclosures of classified documents (whether in print, on a blog or on websites) do not alter the documents’ classified status or automatically result in declassification of the documents,” the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said in a message to all federal agencies obtained by AFP.

The US Library of Congress was one institution that blocked staff and visitors from accessing WikiLeaks, citing ‘potential malicious content’.

In a post on the Library of Congress blog, communications director Matt Raymond confirmed that access to Wikileaks was being blocked and rejected accusations of censorship.

“The Library decided to block Wikileaks because applicable law obligates federal agencies to protect classified information,” Raymond said.

“In other words, the site is being blocked not out of censorship, but because providing the information that is there is illegal.

Assange has also been under threat of arrest by Swedish authorities for sex crimes.

A lawyer who recently represented Julian Assange said the sex assault investigation into the WikiLeaks founder is based on claims he didn’t use condoms during sex with two Swedish women.

James D. Catlin, a lawyer in Melbourne, Australia, says in an article published Thursday that Sweden’s justice system is destined to become “the laughingstock of the world” for investigating rape charges in two cases where women complained that Assange had had sex with them without using a condom.

Assange is thought to be hiding out in the UK but his lawyers said that Scotland Yard would not act on an arrest warrant because it was invalid.

Attorney Mark Stephens said that Scotland Yard has not moved to arrest Assange in the UK where he is thought to be hiding out because the original arrest warrant was invalid.

“There is no arrest warrant against him. There was an Interpol red notice, which is not a warrant, alerting authorities to monitor his movements,” Stephens told Reuters.

“The arrest warrant was sent back by Scotland Yard because it did not comply with the law and was defective,” he said.

Swedish police confirmed Friday that a new arrest warrant had been sent to the UK police. Several British news outlets speculated that Assange could be arrested as early as tomorrow.

A Swedish prosecutor handling allegations against the WikiLeaks founder dismissed suggestions from one of his lawyers Sunday that the case might be politically motivated.

“This investigation has proceeded perfectly normally without any political pressure of any kind,” prosecutor Marianne Ny said.

“It is completely independent,” she added.

Assange said in a online chat Friday that he, his lawyers and his family have “had hundreds of specific death threats from US military militants”.

“Some right-wing sites also called for attacking me via my children,” he noted.

“I predicted this might happen since April, so since that time I have had to stay away from my family,” Assange added.

Wait aren’t war crimes “illegal”???Doesn’t the library have an obligation to the truth?

I would be careful about releasing everything. If I were at the receiving end of these leaks, I would want it all done in once – a deluge that the public would not be able to properly digest anyway.

Leaking a few hundred documents every day makes it utterly painful. If I were CIA (or a certain international bank) and I could pull the plug and empty it all at once by killing Assange, I would consider it.

America right or wrong? My ass! I say dump the shit and let it hit the fan and whoever is standing in front of it. The US has been getting away with too much shit for far too long and needs to have its ass kicked by the people in the world it has been fucking over.

You don’t lead by beating the crap out of people. That only creates resentment. I also don’t preach turn the other cheek. You kick ass and take names when needed, but only when needed. The US has been doing just the opposite and getting away with it because no other countries will stand up to it. The time has come world. The time has come!

Of course our govenrment can’t arrange an accident. They’re stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place. All these politicians calling for his assasination are actually inching over the cliff. Reminds me of that yodeling game on the Price is Right.

A great pity that Chalmers Johnson — UCSD professor and NY Times best-selling author of “Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire,” “The Sorrows of Empire: Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic,” and “Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Republic” — couldn’t have lived just a little while longer to see all of this unfold… he’d certainly have been greatly amused.

So why don’t they block all the news outlets and opinion writers that had helped in the outing of Valerie Plame as well? They helped in the illegal outing of a CIA agent -why would they not now be considered untrustworthy as well? Because Cheney (the State) was their scource?

Why isn’t Wikileaks considered a news outlet like any other -and Assange just one of it’s reporters? Because the State cannot control what he reports? What about freedom of the Press?

Julian Assange is a better American as an Australian than any of the people who are hunting him. The State department is being forced to remove and replace diplomats because their misconduct has been uncovered and their reputations ruined. The Catuolic Church is going through the same thing right now. This will all work out for the best in the long run. It is a shame that like the Church the US government was forced by outside public humiliation to address it’s crimes rather than it’s own virtue.

It is good the secrets of corrupt politicians and world leaders is splashed out into public like dishwater. It’s an education to many people who think the worst thing a political leader can do is to cheat on his wife. These same people who are so naive about official corruption that their reaction to evidence is always to point a finger and accuse the messenger of being a “conspiracy theorist.” Well, here are the cables on the news and I guess the Pollyanna world these people live in is popped forever.

Just because the government can’t arrest Assange it doesn’t mean they can’t go after his supporters and those who downloaded the insurance file.

  • http://twitter.com/savagelight ThatBostonMan

What makes you think the government has control over any vigilantes who decide to take actions into their own hands? I don’t think the government has control over how Assange is stopped they just can choose to look the other way when people volunteer to stop him,

Since theres enough patriotic Americans willing to break the law to stop Assange, it wont take long for Assange to either be stopped or his support network will be crushed.

Patriotic Americans willing to break the law. Great point. Reminds me of the Bush years, too bad you are here echoing Fox News talking points instead of talking about how corrupt our government is. Ever heard the word ACCOUNTABILITY? Maybe you should ask your lawyer, because if he says it’s right, it means it’s right.

Let me ask you one question, did the Bush Adminsitration delete those WH emails on purpose? Or was it an accident. Either way, it was a crime to do so, and all you can focus your pathetic patriotic anger on is someone who wants to give the taxpayers CLARITY.

Hollywood had Rona Barrett and Louella Parsons.
Book publishing had Kitty Kelley and Jackie Collins.
Newspapers (back in the day) had William Randolph Hearst and H.L. Mencken.
Newspapers (more recently) had Woodward and Bernstein.
    The Internet has Julian Assange.

Only one of the above has been threatened by politicians. Guess which one?

  • Johnny Warbucks

    I feel better now.

  • http://twitter.com/savagelight ThatBostonMan

I’m speaking the truth. The vigilante networks don’t care about laws, they are criminals. They don’t have morals as many of them are sociopaths. The government when they have an enemy will decide to look the other way when that enemy is victimized by sociopath vigilantes.

The vigilantes bullying Assange are not going to be arrested. When you tell a bunch of sociopaths that they can target a person and essentially bully them as much as they want this is like a dream to some of the more sick minded. They get to creatively harm somebody without consequence.

Now if you know this then you’ll understand why I fear the vigilante sociopath types. They scare me because theres millions of them and they can bully people to death and if you are in the USA theres nobody you can go to for help. You can’t call the feds, you can’t call the cops, and how are you supposed to fight back an army of sociopath vigilantes who get supplied information about you from the government?

  • sukabi

so why do you want to protect the shadow government? I thought you were all about protecting our freedom…

  • http://twitter.com/savagelight ThatBostonMan

Lets say for sake of argument that you are correct and these vigilante sociopaths are “evil” and “sick”, it doesn’t change the fact that theres no legal mechanism to stop them. If they target you theres no police you can call, theres no feds who will help you, (in fact the feds will feed them all your secrets to make them more effective), there is nothing you can do. These people can bully you to death and if you flip out and act violent you just go to prison where it’s even easier to bully you to death.

What can be done about it? I present the truth, you have what options if targeted?

  • sukabi

so are you now saying that patriotic americans are sociopathic vigilanties???

    What do you think?

If you know anything about playing chicken with the big monkeys you know this don’t mean shit unless he can back it up. Even if he doesn’t have the goods the goods have to be out there. It only stands to reason.

Government leaders ahve leverage over the mainstream media, as follows:

    1) They can deny access if they get coverage they don’t like.
    2) They can deny broadcast licenses to “irresponsible” radio and TV networks.
    3) They can control the frequency of press conferences and favor certain journalists.

They have no leverage over Assange. He doesn’t need them for interviews or quotes. He doesn’t need a license to operate. He doesn’t attend press conferences. Assange is beyond Washington’s control, and it scares them to death. His death, not theirs, in all likelihood.

How this will end (my prediction): As forces closed in to arrest, Assange, he commits “suicide” – then an announcement about all sorts of corruption and ties to “terrorist” groups and activities, and a trove of other misinformation and lies that will be broadcast all over the media. The same media that reports very little details about the truth here. Wait for it.

Julian Assange, from what I have researched, started out as a “White Hat” Hacker. The latest actions by him make him “Black Hat”…

He has released SECURITY info on American sites. That’s the bad…

He released secret info on wrongdoing and illegality on behalf of world leaders…That’s the good.

But he has decided to dump EVERYTHING in one lump. Which is 50/50, but still makes him a Black Hat Operator now.

He should have just stuck to releasing the secrets about people instead of places.

This is a bad move by Julian and won’t win Wikipedia points.

He decided to just dump the whole lot on the world. This stuff might cause some wars and assassinations of leaders (if true)

This is going to change the internet and I don’t know if it will be for bad or good.

But what you, and others who are critical of my position fail to acknowledge is that there is nobody on earth who can protect these people who downloaded the Insurance file.

If you care about innocent people, or if you just dislike the fact that Assange is using them as a buffer for his project, then you’d understand my position. When/if the vigilantes decide to target the people who have the insurance file the government might decide to look the other way as they are doing with Assange and his support network.

What do you expect the government to do if it’s as ruthless as we think it is?

Sounds like the govt is setting him up. Setting him up to use all of these unfolding events as a pretext against the American People and the world by shutting down Net Neutrality. Of course all for our safety and best interest. Yeah right. The Orwellian Nightmare may be unfolding before our very eyes this generation. Life is becoming stranger than fiction. Is the death of freedom knocking on our doors? It certainly appears so. As I’ve always stated “The absence of freedom is slavery”.

I said in a previous post that what is needed is a harder-hitting leak than even the Pentagon Papers.

Basically, unless this insurance file is indisputable evidence of government collusion in 9/11 or the JFK assassination, then it’s worthless and will only give fuel to the 24/7 propaganda damage control. This thing has to be huge.

    Like, Bull Shannon huge.

I think the point these your antagonists want to make and you seem to be missing is that typified by the Church Committee, which succeeded in getting indelible facts on the record showing the utter depravity of the CIA, in such escapades as MKULTRA, routine assassinations, Operation Mockingbird (the subversion of the media, which is of course worse than ever) &c. &c.

They killed the Kennedys and Martin King (and a long list of others) but they can’t kill that indelible record, which makes me think Frank Church (and Pike in the House) did more than they in the long run.

Increasing the percentage of the population that understands the depths of depravity in the Church Committee and other indelible documents seems to me our best shot at getting free (which we are arguably not quite).

I’m not protecting the shadow government. I’m not in the shadow government. I’m saying just watch what happens and if what I’m saying turns out to be right then you can reveal the links I posted and understand what I was warning about.

I’m warning about the ruthless sociopath vigilantes, I’m also warning about Assange who is all too willing t put other people at risk to protect himself. Whether it’s Bradley Manning or the 100,000 people who downloaded the Insurance file, or the names and addresses of the intelligence sources he is threatening to release if the government arrests him.

He is starting to look like a guy who will do anything to save his own ass. I can understand that because that is human nature, but lets not pretend like he is Jesus or a hero. He is trying to save himself at this point by making threats which are completely counter productive to the purpose behind Wikileaks. Also the release of the sensitive sites, how do you justify that behavior? Completely irrational to release that if the goal is to promote liberty.

    My thoughts, exactly.
I keep wondering if Assange is for real, or whether he is in service of those who want
to close down the internet under the excuse of national/international security.

Already we have those in Congress ready to “change the laws” (quoting Mitch McConnell)
in order to stop “high tech terrorism.” Expect a very broad brush to be applied when
these new laws come into being that will be able to label any dissent as a “security threat.”

There is no doubt, that if Wikileaks releases the encryption key to the “insurance file”, that “it” will get out.

I consider this comeuppance to the US shadow government, who violates – especially since 9/11 – the Fourth Amendment, who wants the ability to log your phone calls, know your location 24/7, have the ability to read your email, and know what you buy and where you buy it, and don’t forget take your naked photo when you wish to fly.

Americans, and other people of the world need the means of spying on their own elite, who make so much money on human suffering.

Good point re “this will change the Internet.” I.e., Congress, with typical patronizing, false pretenses, may pass a law giving paranoid US gov’t. freaks the ability to censor or control all servers. That’d be the end of free speech via the ‘Net.
Pretty clearly, Wiki out to collect and release info only on global businesses, or anything except gov’ts.
If a huge dump occurs as threatened, Assange will have won the battle and lost the war, i.e., WE will have the same loss.
Many operations can function without one leader, but Assange is ego-bound it appears and will lose it all to protect himself. He will be arrested or killed, his choice.
Too bad, the spirit if Wiki is what the world needs, but he’s messing with fanatical, ultra-secretive big dogs in the US who will achieve what they want.

  • Anonymous

I’m thinking this whole thing is a false flag op to have an excuse to eliminate free speech. Look at the argument they are using. It’s pure prior restraint which was tried and rebuffed with the pentagon papers. They are trying to do with the internet what they could not do before with the printed press, and a supreme court that believed in and supported the Bill of Rights. Now its the internet and a supreme court that is the enemy of the people and the Bill of Rights.

That video is such pure US-corporate-media-propaganda. Is this RawStory showing that garbage? They show a sound byte of the twisted (and not in a good way) Mitch McConnell saying that if the law doesn’t provide the outcome HE wants, the law should be changed, but no alternate view from any sane person. They show Assange’s lawyer, but only choose the 5 seconds where he compares the potential new release to a nuclear weapon. And who is the unidentified talking head who appears at 1:14? He’s only there to run with the time bomb metaphor. Some blonde British lady appears toward the end to discuss his arrest warrant- nothing identifying who the fuck she is, either. NBC, you employ KO, Maddow and some other truth-tellers, but this report is highly biased nonsense.

  • Anonymous

yes, it is strange how all of the releases coincide with the status quo screaming and shouting what a terrible threat net neutrality is to our security and how we have to shut it down for our protection. And this also dovetails with what AT&T and the Wall Street Journal have recently stated about how the internet can no longer remain free. They will not be satisfied until they’ve looted every one of us and consolidated all power into their hands and out of ours. No doubt it’s strategically being played out by the government to destroy net neutrality. Just another unlawful assault on our freedoms.

  • sukabi

first off, everything in the “sensitive sites” list is public knowledge, and anyone with an ounce of sense and a functioning brain would be able to make their own list from doing a bit of research just by reading the news, if they had a desire to do this or any other government harm.

also, everything you’re hearing about Assange’s actions is being shaped by the very folks who are screaming the most loudly about how much damage he’s doing… ie, the government, state department and most notably our illustrious media talking heads… why is it that the NY Times and other news outlets haven’t been shut down, had their bank accounts shut off, or any of the other crap when they’ve published the VERY SAME DOCUMENTS that Wikileaks has??? There’s a bit of a disconnect going on here, isn’t there?

This event is starting to smell like a neo-con/mossad propaganda operation to provoke the “compromised, blackmailable US Congress” to shut down the internet on grounds that it is a threat to ‘National Security”, when in reality the tenatiousness of the 911 Truth movement has finally exposed the hand of Israel in the demolition of the WTC and the fraud Larry Silverstein perpertrated on the insurance companies. With all the information surfacing that alludes, and maybe even proves, that the government story is a fairytale, Assange still maintains that story as truth, and so far none of his information compromises either Israel or the mossad that he has exposed or even threatens to expose.

You have to wonder if this is not damage control for the group of people who defrauded the US into two wars, gave us the greatest banking scandal of all time, destroyed the manufacturing infrastucture of the US sending many high paying jobs over seas so the banks can steal the properties of families that can’t make the payments, that continually rape and pillage the American taxpayer through the privately owned Federal Reserve and allowed the “wailing wall street crowd’” to turn an investment facility into a gambling house !

Where is ANYTHING involving wrongdoing of Israel, a major player in world affairs and on of the top ‘sneaky’ Nations we have going. Something stinks.

    3) All the discussion about Net Neutrality was right at the APEX just before this Wikileak Data Dump. Two things coincidentally coinciding? Wouldn’t government LOVE a pretext to shut down all “alternative” media?

A well equipped military perhaps, top grade healthcare for those with the money… but what about those other silly little issues, some examples off the top of the my head…

Education, life-expectancy, economic forecast, infrastructure, dealing with corporate corruption, a functional and streamlined political system, pollution, public-spending wastage, freedom of the press, homelessness, food safety, crime prevention, tact & diplomacy, humanitarian issues, nuclear non-proliferation, torture, etc.

Don’t get me wrong, I like America and Americans, I agree America has the most imperialistic power and drive in the world at present, the best equipped military and the best healthcare (if you can afford it)… but beyond that… by other metrics, the USA can rank lower than 20th place (can’t remember if that’s education or life-expectancy but it’s one of those… probably education.).

“Failure to do so reduce our ability to claim greatness!”

A war based on lies, a nation-wide daylight robbery by the investment class, substandard education, unmaintained infrastructure, natural disaster management failures and regular political corruption haven’t stood in the way of that claim so far, so don’t worry too much about that. :)

What if it becomes public knowledge that Cheney outed Plame? that Bush stole the election from Gore and Kerry? that SEC of New York were complacent to what the big firms were doing with mortgages? that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are only to make money for the military industrial complex? that 911 was a false flag operation perpetrated by elements of our own governments? that there are aliens are on the moon? so on and so forth ad nauseum. What would happen? I’m sorry to say but, nothing. Today we know that Roosevelt knew 4 hours before pearl harbor that the attack was coming, was anything done? Today we know that the bay of Tonkin was a lie, was anything done? Today we know that there were no weapons of mass distraction in Iraq, was anything done? Today we know Bush actively pursued the ‘right’ to torture, will anything be done? Today we know that Obama helped to squash the prosecution of Bush for his many crimes, will anything be done? Soon we will find out just how insolvent BofA is, will anything be done? we are living in a police state when a US citizen needs to have their clothes removed electronically in violation of their 4th amendment rights, without so much as any probable cause. This shows us just how afraid the military complex supported by wall street became on 9/11, to having their corrupt world exposed. You see the US government doesn’t want us to know that the CIA installed the current Saudi regime so america could have cheap oil, which lead to Osama’s attack on 9/11. Instead of admitting to their sins, the US government is using a time proven tactic of fear to further their masquerade.

An interesting and possible scenario. There’s no doubt in my mind that 9/11 was a military operation engineered and executed by rogue elements of the US military, CIA and/or Mossad. However, maybe the information Assange has and is threatening to release is so damaging that the MSM and even the most ill informed BOZO citizen would be forced to believe the same; A “smoking gun” that proves 9/11 was an inside job. Assange may be publicly backing the 9/11 Commission Report when he knows it’s totally fraudulent because it’s his last and most powerful card to play. Maybe he’s being run and supplied with documents by a faction in the US military and the “Good” CIA that is attempting a counter coup against the 9/11 coup d’etat.

A few days ago, ABC referred to Assange as “the most wanted man in the world” and then went right on to say he was wanted in Sweden for allagations of rape. Amazing! An accused “rapist”, and I use the term very loosly here, is the most wanted man in the world.

Anyone remember when we caught that Osama Bin Ladin guy? I didn’t think so! It sure looks like Assange became much more wanted when he started talking about having information on the banks. States secrets are one thing, exposing the inner workings of the criminal banks is quite another!

It’s interesting that while the govt can argue that the documents relative to military activity, national security, etc., have been “classified,” how is it that the bankster/corporate document dump that was supposed to be the next release of info is considered classified information as well? That’s really when leadership in various so-called democratic societies began to take vigorous action to pursue and stop Wikileaks and Assange–for example, Amazon, PayPal, and banking entities, etc., suddenly turned against Wikileaks, along with the various govts.

It seems to suggest that the dealings of big business are now considered “classified” as well. And if so, why, and when did classifying documents pertaining to big business activities become the norm? These are rhetorical questions of course, but I think it’s become quite obvious that what this is really about is keeping concealed the corruption and crimes committed by big business and their corporate puppets within govt. So this is a can of worms that needs to be opened for all to see and then dealt with appropriately. Truth and justice cannot be denied and will ultimately prevail.

This is true–at least for the time being. This is what makes the release of the documents relative to the banksters/corporations so vitally important. The panicked reaction alone to Wikileaks since they publicly disclosed what was next in line to be released speaks volumes. So it’s not unreasonable to conclude that the release of these documents will probably reveal that the people have literally had their wealth flat out stolen by powerful banksters/corporations, with govt officials acting as their accomplices. So those banksters/corporations and their accomplices only have “ownership” in the same way a thief has ownership of what he’s stolen–he only “owns” it (in the sense that it’s in his possession) until the rightful owners hunt him down and take back that which rightfully belongs to them. Under normal circumstances, the thief and his accomplices would then be charged, convicted and sentenced to prison for their crimes. Naturally, like all criminals, the perps involved in this massive heist are determined not to let that happen.

Everything will be known. The Truth cannot be stopped. Of course, many will simply not believe it and of course the government has its lawyers and they are all connected to the judges. One big happy family. Even after so many questions regarding 911 go unanswered many people do not care what happened. Many do but still many do not: It is unbelievable how people do not realize where they can start to “get their country back!” (as we’ve heard from so many teabaggers) is exactly learning the Truth about 911.

Sibel Edmonds was dismissed after she revealed that the government had foreknowledge of plans to attack American cities using planes as bombs as early as April 2001.

During a court case that arose out of her dismissal and the evidence surrounding 9/11, reporters were barred from recording any details of the case, and Edmonds herself was barred from even entering the court room. When Edmonds’ case was dismissed in May 2005, no reason was provided, and no opinion cited.

During an interview on the Mike Malloy Show In July 2009, Edmonds stated, “To say that since the fall of the Soviet Union we ceased all of our intimate relationship with Bin Laden and the Taliban – those things can be proven as lies, very easily, based on the information they classified in my case, because we did carry very intimate relationship with these people, and it involves Central Asia, all the way up to September 11.”

Here’s some interesting news from Gordon Duff at Veterans TodayISRAEL WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG — MORE RIGHT THAN EVEN THEY KNEW”. He finds indirect references to Israel in the cables dealing with all of Israel’s supposed enemies and threats. Check this out, the opening 3 paragraphs:

Forever, Israel told us that the Arab nations couldn’t be trusted, that they were ruled by duplicitous back stabbers. Now, Wikileaks has proven that right beyond question. It turns out, the Arab world, all those nations that we thought were preparing to attack Israel, you know, the ones whose tanks were getting ready to close in on Tel Aviv, were actually on Israel’s side. Wikileaks tells us that, since 1979, the countries the US has given Israel more than a hundred billion dollars to protect themselves from where actually working with Israel all along.

Boy, that must be egg on America’s face.

Not only that, Israel had been telling us all along that these countries were petty dictatorships, run by liars and fools, petty criminals who would sell their own people down the river for a dollar. Now we find those same criminals and dictators have been working with Israel for over 30 years, information from Wikileaks that has the people of these Middle East dictatorships reeling in shock.

Bit of a shell game. That’s what I keep thinking. I just contributed a second time to one of the most promising light-shiners, Building What?”, a project of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and they are making remarkable breakthroughs with it, leading notably to concessions on FOX of all places, by Geraldo Rivera and Judge Napolitano, both of whom conceded that something was royally fishy with the story as it stands.

Given gains like that, there could well be a sense of panic in Mordor, and a sudden order to distract, mislead, and provoke the needed clampdown.

Let’s let this be an encouragement, and push our sharpened stake ever harder into the Cyclops’ eye.

Tarpley also made a point of Brzezinski’s warning against attacking Iran (I made a placard for the street of it in 07). Now Gordon Duff is pointing out (WHY WIKILEAKS DOESN’T ADD UP that Zbig is again warning us to beware of Wikileaks:

One out of seven news outlets have noticed, thus far, that Wikileaks seems to have a “soft heart” when it comes to Israel and India. Zbigniew Brzezinski caught on, finally, declaring that Wikileaks is an “intelligence operation” using “pointed” information carefully “seeded” into a combination of minor scandals and chickenfeed.

    ...

Something about this had a terrible smell. It should have taken weeks to find the Pakistan stuff but the press had it all immediately. Brzezinski is right, Wikileaks is something very wrong packaged to look very innocent. We saw the same thing in the Iraq “dump,” all about imaginary secret agents from Iran.

  • yvonneo

Oh, I think the potential implications are enormous–all across the board and not exclusive to our nation alone. And I can think of four SCOTUS justices in particular who could potentially be involved (namely, Roberts, Scalia, Alito and Thomas)–and then there’s the US Chamber of Commerce and their clients (both foreign and domestic), and potentially many more as yet unidentified players.

Of course, Assange is now in clear and present danger, so I would think that along with the release of the bankster/corporate documents, or maybe instead of (although I hope not), Wikileaks will be following through on their current threat to release even more damaging information to the public if something bad happens to Assange. IMO, the release of this information has the potential of exposing a global network of criminals in high places (that would make the mafia look like amateurs).

If you haven’t already read the article below, I recommend it. I believe it is this article and the subsequent reporting on it in other media that sent the banksters/corporations and their govt puppets into a panic that has resulted in the current global hysteria to silence Assange and Wikileaks.

    http://blogs.forbes.com/andygreenberg/2010/11/29/wikileaks-julian-assange-wants-to-spill-your-corporate-secrets/

In short, I think the release of these documents has the potential of tearing open the belly of the beast.

RE bin Ladin, have you ever seen Adam Curtis’s masterpiece, The Power of Nightmares? Gordon Duff clipped out a chunk for his latest over at VT, which points out that bin Ladin was a CIA construct from start to finish. Curtis shows how the videos of al Qaeda were staged with locals as extras, instructed to bring their own guns for the filming. This was produced in 2004 — an absolute must-see for everyone who wants to understand the last decade.

It’s AMAZING how desperately I wanted to believe this Assange was actually a hero. I wanted to believe it so hard that I ignored (to some extent) the suggestions that this was a cyber false flag attack. And how quaint to call it a ticking time bomb (with a remote fuse?) or thermonuclear device (effectively) in the electronic age. This move to the NWO is insidious. Everyone, start figuring out now where you’d like your chip implanted.

  • Jaimie

You’re welcome – glad to help.

I like Tarpley a lot, but I am not entirely certain he does not twist a fact here and there to conform to his conclusion. But, of course, I am not privy to his sources and his vast knowledge and experience.

Have you heard about Assange’s strange childhood in a quasi religious/psychiatric cult where the children had their hair dyed blonde (Assange’s hair was platinum blonde until quite recently – a fashion choice or ???). Children were given LSD and neuroleptic drugs, were abused in many ways. I’m not convinced Assange experienced all the worst this group offered its children, but he must have been affected and negatively so.

Check out – Anne Hamilton-Byrne and the Santiniketan Park Association. Tarpley says it had MKULTRA connections. Google “Tarpley on Assange”.

  • Jaimie

Tarpley says Assange is MKULTRA. In that case, this “Maybe he’s being run and supplied with documents by a faction in the US military and the “Good” CIA that is attempting a counter coup against the 9/11 coup d’etat.” is more unlikely than the sun burning out this noon.

A conspiracy that would have to involve thousands of people in the greatest mass murder on American soil ever…and yet no one with actual evidence had the moral crisis that would have lead them to leak through WIkileaks. Hmmm… two possibilities…there is no hidden truth behind 9-11, or it was Julian Asagne himself who destroyed the Twin Towers with a controlled demolition and then launched a missile into the Pentagon!

    You dick.

    we need a new…err…..REAL investigation

    [911summary.com]

The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission (Thomas Keane and Lee Hamilton) said that the CIA (and likely the White House) “obstructed our investigation”.

The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission also said that the 9/11 Commissioners knew that military officials misrepresented the facts to the Commission, and the Commission considered recommending criminal charges for such false statements, yet didn’t bother to tell the American people (free subscription required).

Indeed, the co-chairs of the Commission now admit that the Commission largely operated based upon political considerations.

9/11 Commission co-chair Lee Hamilton says “I don’t believe for a minute we got everything right”, that the Commission was set up to fail, that people should keep asking questions about 9/11, that the 9/11 debate should continue, and that the 9/11 Commission report was only “the first draft” of history.

9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerrey said that “There are ample reasons to suspect that there may be some alternative to what we outlined in our version . . . We didn’t have access . . . .”

9/11 Commissioner Timothy Roemer said “We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting”

Former 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland resigned from the Commission, stating: “It is a national scandal”; “This investigation is now compromised”; and “One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up”.

9/11 Commissioner John Lehman said that “We purposely put together a staff that had – in a way – conflicts of interest”.

The Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission (John Farmer) who led the 9/11 staff’s inquiry, said “I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described …. The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years…. This is not spin. This is not true.”

There are countless examples of false flag attacks. Anyone with even a modicum of awareness MUST have questions about 911.

    It wasn’t hard to find.

Belfast Telegraph, 19 July 2010: Wanted by the CIA: Julian Assange – Wikileaks founder [maybe should be "Working for" instead of "Wanted by" —P.P.]

“His obsession with secrecy, both in others and maintaining his own, lends him the air of a conspiracy theorist. Is he one? “I believe in facts about conspiracies,” he says, choosing his words slowly. “Any time people with power plan in secret, they are conducting a conspiracy. So there are conspiracies everywhere. There are also crazed conspiracy theories. It’s important not to confuse these two. Generally, when there’s enough facts about a conspiracy we simply call this news.” What about 9/11? “I’m constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud.” What about the Bilderberg conference? “That is vaguely conspiratorial, in a networking sense. We have published their meeting notes.”

Precious little embarrassing about Israel in those Wikileaks. Have you noticed?

Gordon Duff over at Veterans Today has some interesting links that go a long way toward explaining why that is:

GORDON DUFF: BUSTED – WIKILEAKS WORKING FOR ISRAEL

I haven’t checked them all out thoroughly, but there are multiple sources that suggest he was bought off. Several of the German members, which is a major component of the Wikileaks team, have bailed and are writing a book about their displeasure with his monarchical attitude, and his high-handed ways.

I’m going to read this latest post over there on my PDA as I doze off (the former I read at work today: BUSTED!! WIKILEAKS STRUCK A DEAL WITH ISRAEL OVER CABLE LEAKS).

  • http://customkitchencabinets.co.uk Chere Treutel

Excellent article and easy to understand explanation. How do I go about getting permission to post part of the article in my upcoming news letter? Giving proper credit to you the author and link to the site would not be a problem.

  • http://proudprimate.com Anonymous

I’m surprised to hear you say that. Personally, I agree with ZB 100%. The people are dumb as cocker spaniels, and have been for a long, long time. If they knew the operative facts of American History it would be impossible for the Deep State to function contrary to their wishes. Impossible.

For example, how many people recognize the term “Operation Gladio”? How many Americans know that the kidnapping and murder of Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro was not, contrary to the common wisdom and that foisted upon us by the media, the work of the Brigate Rossi or Red Brigades, the Communist agitators, but in fact was the act of the Propaganda Due or P2 Lodge under the close coordination of the CIA and MI6, as an integral part of the Europe-wide campaign of terror perpetrated under Operation Gladio, as it was known in Italy, including many bombings of banks, train stations, school buses, &c., all successfully blamed on Leftists, under the doctrine of la Strategia della Tensione, to cause the people to run to the State and cling to its skirts for protection?

Virtually no one. In fact, a sizeable fraction of Americans can’t find Italy on a map. For those wishing to know more, watch the video of the second hour of the BBC series (Gladio, Part 2 The Puppeteers). Then, if your interest grows, the other two (Gladio, Part 1: The Ringmasters & Gladio The Foot Soldiers Part 3). Of the text resources, Dr. Ganser’s white paper is the most thoroughly supported with references, The Secret Side of International Relations: An approach to NATO’s stay-behind armies in Western Europe.

As Gordon Duff has rightly said, “Virtually all terrorism is False Flag”, ie., perpetrated by states to turn the sheep against a would-be enemy.

As an interesting side-light, Tarpley and his team were the original investigators of the story, when he was Berlin bureau chief of the Larouche operation, in their book Chi ha ucciso Aldo Moro? (“Who killed Aldo Moro?”), published in 1978, produced at the request of a member of the Italian Parliament. Tarpley took his degree at an Italian university, and is fluent in Italian, French, German, and Russian (at least).

On a further tangent, anyone who wonders how America got so dumbed-down, absolutely essential information is this classic film of the interview by G. Edward Griffin, author of The Creature from Jekyll Island, of Norman Dodd, former Chief of Staff to Congressman Carroll Reese of Tennessee, in the context of Reese’s chairmanship of the Subcommittee on Tax-Exempt Organizations. Mr. Dodd speaks about the evidence that these NGOs conspired to lobotomize the teaching of American History, so that the people would lose hold of their rights and freedoms. The genuineness of his testimony is self-evident and unmistakable from the video itself.

When I was a kid there was a company in Denver that owned competing gas stations, and they actually had a “Gas War”, cutting prices against each other, to drum up business. Apparently it worked to increase sales, and take market share from other companies not involved.

I think that’s what we’re seeing here — CIA/Mossad and Wikileaks pretending to be on opposite sides of a Kabuki dance spectacle. Notice how little embarrassment there is for Israel in these leaks? Nary a peep. Gordon Duff has laid hands on several good links that explain why: ASSANGE ACCUSED: “TOOK MONEY FROM ISRAEL”

  • Boneman

Yes, the duopoly we have in our congress is the perfect example.

Well, there are minor differences, some not so minor. For example, Republicans are virtually lock-step in their votes, while Democrats are divided over dozens of issues, to the point of being a helpless bag of rags. But the effect is the same.

And when it comes to discussion of 9/11, or proposing a serious challenge to Israel, none on either side will utter a peep.

I’m beginning to think my position should be stated as follows:
“I support what the Democrats pretend to believe.”

Still, it must be remembered that FDR had a 70% majority in Congress, and they could do anything they wanted. And they did. But even he made it a point to tell A. Phillip Randolph, “Go out and make me do it.” because he needed the people behind him.

I don’t have time for a full response right now but just to clarify my ZB comment: Yes, the people are ignorant and they have no clue what the rest of the world is about – they believe what the partisan politicians, who don’t work for the people, tell them. The American people, in general, are Zombies. But in truth, they have no say as to policy – legislation gets passed without honest discussion and review, the MSM does not do its job. Legislation is passed without anyone but the oligarch owned authors knowing what is in it, what its implications and real effects will be. Congress does not even read the bills.

If ZB had prefaced his comments with “We have deceived the American people and etc, etc…I’d have no problem. But he is blaming the patient for being ill when the physician can’t effect a cure. And damn it, after all, ZB and his ilk have maneuvered the people into their supine positions. And don’t forget the ruse of the public education system – geared to dumbing down the masses.

It’s not that I’m making excuses for the easily manipulated – I deplore their own complicity in their own ignorance – but that’s just it – they’re ignorant and even with Master’s Degrees are uneducated these days. But for ZB to blame it all on them is duplicitous and jaded.

And I was thinking about this earlier this am – the way it is accepted to call them sheeple is, in my opinion, non-productive and actually destructive. It doesn’t educate them but it *does* trigger their defense mechanisms which blind them further.

I’m glad to see you defend your position, and I realize there is some difference in the vantage points we take. Mine is that IF the people came face to face with the massive bulk of truth that is contrary to the fraud that has been perpetrated upon them, in just such a way as to overcome their obstacles and defenses, bringing them to a stunning life-changing realization, like I had when I heard Stephen Kinzer talk to Terri Gross about his new book All The Shah’s Men, or to put it another way, if a majority of Americans, or even 40%, became fully aware of, say, the top ten State Crimes Against Democracy, and in sum, that the State is a Liar, and categorically deceives the people on a grand scale for generations hand running, the very fact of this knowledge, THE VERY FACT OF THIS KNOWLEDGE would make it impossible for the criminals to continue, by any means short of martial law.

Secondly, I think you should be careful to be sure you have proof that Brzezinski is actually a participant in that deception before you accuse him. Do you have specific examples?

WOW. I just watched the Tarpley video — I’ve never seen that before. Of course I’m familiar with the “Angel is next” story, which I first heard during Alex Jones’s Los Angeles conference with Jim Fetzer and Stephen Jones. I asked Tarpley about it in person at a Quaker church in Dover NH in January of ’07, saying “I see that there are references to the message to the Secret Service in remarks by Condie, by William Safire, and (I can’t remember now, but somebody on CNN I think), but none of them mention the word “Angel”. Can you enlighten me on the matter?” “You haven’t read my book!” he says. “Yes I have” I said. I had read the free PDF which was the very first edition, so maybe the paper copy had it. I later found out that Bob Woodward had used the phrase.

It would be extremely interesting to learn who it was that initiated the decision to have the Global Guardian exercise. Obviously it was some authority who was entirely read into the depths of the plot.

But it is fascinating to hear the references to Reseau Voltaire, which has always been big in his palette, Thierry Meyssan’s organization, and DEBKA, and NAMAKON. Tarpley of course is fluent in French and Russian, the latter of which leaves me out in the cold. But there’s always Google translator. I want to see what the Voltaire network says about “Angel is next”. Good thing I have tomorrow off.

That would be because of something that happend overseas and an UN-NAMED group had the white house by the balls, and bush looked the other way and knew damn well what was getting ready to occur along with less than 12 others that were aware of something that could cause so much bad pr with the world. the bush playground went along and set up the war games on the exact day of the attack. Wait that will come out too. someone always is watching even in the most secure areas, It’s called keep your enimies close your friends closer.. And yes there were explosives residue that was found and not published once the cleanup was nearing the bottom of the worst F&@K UP in history that will come out and it’s a fact that it will come through a certain website who likes to inform of the governments that I don’t ever remember reading about in high school.. Again even our school books are full of BS and makes me sick to know our own government operates so unknowingly who does what anymore or ever for that matter.. Pucker Up Bush Karma’s a real B
