I made the mistake, one time, of sending him and email at his web site. I told him in no uncertain terms that I believe him to be a selfish, arrogant, ignorant, lying, self serving piece of shit who needs serious mental counseling. I told him that in NO WAY would I EVER consider him fit for ANY public office, and I told him that I think he is seriously mentally unbalanced.

For the next 6 weeks I got mercilessly spammed by the fat bastard, with things telling me how GREAT the fucker is and why I should support him. NOT ONE of those emails had a valid opt out address. So I figured it out (fortunately, I DO know a little bit about how this shit works) and finally got them to leave me alone. Perhaps the threat of legal action for harassment had a little something to do with it, but I doubt it. The fat one knows he won’t ever be charged with anything, no matter how he deserves it.

Rachel, dear, there is NO surprise here. republicans NEVER do anything REAL for their money, especially the politicians. Look at the entirety of this Reagan era we live in. I’ve been saying for 30 years that the whole thing is built on paper. There is no “there” there. It’s like W’s “ownership society”. It has NOTHING to do with REAL ownership, which, before they sold off, we DID own our society. W didn’t think that people should have jobs, they should just be vested in PAPER. This is absolutely a non ender to a non starter congress. As long as Glass Steagall remains repealed and the necessary law enforcement provisions muted and curtailed by the Commodities and Futures Modernization Act are held in abeyance then 2011 will be a lawless and futureless year just as the past one. Had Obama been this persistent on just these two issues we would all have been better off. We are not. We are unemployed, broke and teetering on worse disaster next year than in any year in the past. May just as well give the bastards the whole farm.

That eliminates the need to take personal responsiblity for their own thoughts and actions. A pattern of behavior for the simple minded and weak willed among us. And there are a lot.
