I can’t say I agree with them on the homegrown terrorism front…white power activists and militia groups are and have been a major concern for decades now…and they’ve handled with kid gloves the entire time. Tell me, if it weren’t for the US government during the Guilded Age and the hay-day of Unions, who would have been there to stop the Unions from taking power and control of production and giving it to the worker? The answer is NO ONE. Do you think the Pinkerton guards alone could have taken on the masses of people who were workers and supported Unions? I don’t think so! It took the Army (who came panting to the aid of large and damaging corporations like Standard Oil or Bethlehem Steel) to take down Unions!

You might say that since then that the Government has implemented controls over corporations and is our last line of defense against corporate domination of society. You would be wrong, not to mention naive, for the aid that Government gives to corporations far outweighs the aid given to the average citizen. Polarization – the practice of categorizing individuals into apparent strongly opposing groups, ie. right/left, liberal/conservative, Democrats/Republicans, white/black, etc, etc – is a longstanding method of avoiding the underlying fundamental commonality of all individuals. All humans, whether or not they realize it, are doing what each has decided *at the time* is the likeliest to maximize his/her (hir) lifetime happiness – those actions which an individual estimates have the best chance of most increasing the sum over hir lifetime of all the happiness instances that s/he experiences. The biggest problems in human interactions come because so many individuals have not understood this very basic fact and also that no one knows what is in an individual’s best interest except that individual, and possibly hir very closest of friends.

So when I read articles like this one, hurling invectives of “left wing”, “right wing”, “conservative”, “liberal”, “hate group”, etc, I conclude that those using them as such are letting themselves be used – or are using others themselves – to continue polarization of residents (in this case of the US). This is generally a government tactic – divide and conquer – and has served the rulers well for centuries. But in this time of widespread almost instant communication, it is method that can be fairly easily dismissed and shrugged off – if only people begin to realize it for what it is: an attempt to obstruct the thinking of individuals as individuals. I urge others to stop such tendencies in themselves and question the practice by others.

These self-proclaimed “real” Americans don’t seem to have a clue about the history of our nation. Ask any one of them about the Shay’s Rebellion, the Articles of Confederation and what those two had to do with the creation of the US Constitution and all you’ll hear are crickets chirping. These a-holes constantly talk about the Constitution as though it is religious doctrine to be strictly adhered to and yet at the same time seek the destruction of our govt–the very govt that our Constitution created and established in the first place. Well, I happen to agree that Homeland Security is a bad joke. However, it is also quite obviously a fully bipartisan bad joke — a highly expensive, Constitutionally violating, wrongly invasive and intrusive one at that.

Libertarians are not Anarchists! I agree when you say that Libertarians do not care about others. I agree when you say that Libertarians are pro-corporation. I agree when you say that Libertarians do not support environmental controls. But I disagree when you call them Anarchists because Anarchists are none of those things.

The way Libertarians would like things to be, Government would be so minimal that corporations would be absolutely free to do whatever they pleased. Yet from our very own history, we can see that a government as such will eventually become more powerful — in order to support corporations and regulate commerce — and suppress Unions.

On the other hand, without Government to suppress organized labor, corporations would NOT be able to do whatever they want — organized labor would hold them back. Organized labor was WINNING in the late 1800′s (the large Anarchist/Socialist/Communist movement that was tied in to the labor movement can attest to that) — but the Government stepped in. Anarchists realize that Government more than anything is an ally to big business, and that is why they are decidedly not at all like Libertarians.

Notice the string of their hate groups. One protects people’s civil rights like speech and assembly. One protects the rights of people to actually have rights. Well Johnny I can’t say I was raised that way. I grew up in a military family. My parents raised us that we were no better or worse than anyone else. My dad always said that there were minorities fighting on the battles fields all over the world for all of us to be free and they earned the respect of all of us. My parents had all kinds of friends come over to our house and we played with all kind of children and some I still remember with great pleasure. I couldn’t have had a better life meeting a variety of people. By the way I found out they were no different from me and they want the same things for their families. People need to grow up. I remember living with my husband at Ft Bragg in North Carolina. I had a black family on one side and a hispanic family on the other side and across the street a white family. In the summer they all clean their cars and you walk outside you hear all kinds of music. It is so funny. Of course all to loud because we want to take a nap. We were the oldest couple. But it is so interesting to see people. I loved every moment of it. We often get together and have BBQs.

I don’t think the innocent people who were locked up, had their phones and computers tapped, or had their names on the no fly list are laughing.
