High-ranking members of US military part of ‘Knights of Malta,’ ‘Opus Dei,’ reporter claims

Veteran investigative reporter Seymour Hersh has broken some massive stories in his day, but uncovering secret societies within the highest echelons of America’s military would probably be the biggest of his career.

Well, get ready for the media storm, because that’s essentially what Hersh told an audience in Doha, Qatar recently, according to a report published earlier this week by Foreign Policy.

Speaking at a campus operated by Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Hersh said he was working on a new book that details “how eight or nine neoconservative, radicals if you will, overthrew the American government.”

“It’s not only that the neocons took it over but how easily they did it — how Congress disappeared, how the press became part of it, how the public acquiesced,” he continued, according to the published quotes.

Hersh also lamented President Obama’s continuance of the Bush administration’s worst abuses.

“Just when we needed an angry black man, we didn’t get one,” he reportedly said.

The Foreign Policy report added that in 2003, those “in the Cheney shop” were not concerned about the havoc the invasion of Iraq was destined to cause.

“[The] attitude was, ‘What’s this? What are they all worried about, the politicians and the press, they’re all worried about some looting?” Hersh was quoted as saying. “Don’t they get it? We’re gonna change moseques into cathedrals. And when we get all the oil, nobody’s gonna give a damn.’ That’s the attitude. We’re gonna change mosques into cathedrals. That’s an attitude that pervades, I’m here to say, a large percentage of the Joint Special Operations Command [JSOC].”

He further claimed that Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Vice Admiral William McRaven and others in the JSOC were members of the “Knights of Malta” and “Opus Dei,” two little known Catholic orders.

“They do see what they’re doing — and this is not an atypical attitude among some military — it’s a crusade, literally,” Hersh reportedly continued. “They see themselves as the protectors of the Christians. They’re protecting them from the Muslims [as in] the 13th century. And this is their function.”

He added that members of these societies have developed a secret set of insignias that represent “the whole notion that this is a culture war” between religions.

It was President George W. Bush who first invoked images of a holy war in the Middle East, when he suggested soon after Sept. 11, 2001 that the US was on a “crusade” in the region.

The “Knights of Malta” were a Catholic order founded in 1085 as a group of monks who cared for the wounded. It evolved into a military order that safeguarded Christian pilgrims from Muslims during the nine “Crusades,” where Europe’s Christian states laid siege to Muslims for control of Jerusalem.

“Opus Dei,” popularly depicted in the Hollywood film “The DaVinci Code,” was founded in 1928 and officially accepted as part of the Catholic church in 1947. The group’s website claimed their principle calling was to bring about a “Christian renewal” around the world.

Doubts, denials and a distinctive trend

Raw Story reached out to Hersh and The New Yorker to confirm the accuracy of his quotes, placing this report on hold until they responded. Both declined to make any further statement, neither confirming nor denying the quotes.

However, one source close to Hersh who spoke to Raw Story off the record, suggested that Foreign Policy‘s report was indeed correct.

Raw Story followed-up on the quotes due to a widely-reported false claim attributed to Hersh in May 2009, where he’d allegedly said former Vice President Dick Cheney ordered the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

The report, which appeared to have originated in Pakistan, was picked up by The Wall Street Journal and the conservative-leaning American Spectator, but both removed the links after Raw Story published a denial from Hersh. A link to Raw Story’s original report was unavailable due to a database malfunction.

Hersh, a Pulitzer-winning author and reporter, has previously reported that the JSOC was set up by former Vice President Cheney as something of an “executive assassination squad” that operated outside of congressional authority.

Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who resigned after Rolling Stone reporter Michael Hastings quoted him mocking the US civilian command, led JSOC before taking command of America’s war effort in Afghanistan.

In an email to the military’s Stars and Stripes publication, McChrystal’s spokesman, David Bolger, panned Hersh’s claim.

“The allegations recently made by Seymour Hersh relating to General McChrystal’s involvement with an organization called The Knights of Malta are completely false and without basis in fact,” he reportedly wrote. “General McChrystal is not and has never been a member of that organization.”

The religious indoctrination of US soldiers has been in headlines in recent weeks as soldiers who “failed” the “spiritual fitness” portion of the “comprehensive soldier fitness” test claimed they were forced to attend Christian ceremonies and become “born again” by professing love for the Christian deity.

Similarly, GQ magazine uncovered last year a series of top-secret military briefings prepared by former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld that included passages from the Bible.

Trijicon Inc., a defense contractor, was also discovered last January to have been for years placing scriptural references on gun sights used by the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Their actions revealed Trijicon was forced to provide the Pentagon with kits to remove the codes.

I don’t call anything true or false yet. If we look at our military what is the one thing that they keep advising? Constantly staying wherever we are. The military did not want to leave Iraq. And they’re constantly telling Obama that they must work harder in Afghanistan and that we have to extend for another year. Everyone goes right along with it. The military element in the fact that much of our upper Republican and Democratic Congressman always say that they have to listen to the people with the boots on the ground is taking us deeper and deeper into places where we should not be. I have heard talk of us attacking Yemen. Who is after that? Why do we let the military guide us? That’s like letting our auto mechanic tell us how much we are going to spend. Not should spend, will spend

We are at a crossroad where if we head in one direction we may be able to save this republic or if we keep heading in the direction we have been on may lead us to the annihilation of America. Our country should not be on a religious crusade that will tear open the world and tear apart our society.

Time will tell which was chosen.

I have little faith that it will be the right one.

Look up “Operation Northwoods” if you want to see how truly perverted the US military is.

Plenty of stuff online about it. All the joint chiefs signed the Northwoods documents. If there was such a thing as justice in america they would have been tried for treason.

If it weren’t so painfully accurate in it’s entirety, I’d be laughing my ass off right now.

Knights of Malta or not, these people are Nazis. After WWII, the Vatican sent Nazis to the United States to run our CIA and military. Their organization is still strong, particularly in Naval intelligence. They’re still here.

FTA – Hersh also lamented President Obama’s continuance of the Bush administration’s worst abuses.

“Just when we needed an angry black man, we didn’t get one,” he reportedly said.

Yup. I agree. When Obama takes a hands off approach to the military, he allows this perversion to continue. What are we even doing in Afghanistan? Obama ran as a Progressive, but upon election, slacked off & became a typical spineless Democrat.

Meanwhile Seymour Hersch, giant of investigative journalism, has the spine to poke this very nasty beast, which I’m sure he knows can get you killed.

So they vehemently deny that McChrystal was a member of the Knights of Malta; no denial concerning the even more radical Opus Dei.

Funny thing. Jesus has to ride in through a gate in Jerusalem, that the Muslims have bricked up. They even put a muslim cemetary outside the wall so that Jesus won’t be able to get to the gate. If Jesus can’t get through the gate he can’t become world king.
Yet prophesy tells us that he will. It is in the bible. Don’t you read it?

This might seem stupid to you and me, but this shit is serious to them.
Now ask yourself, how crazy are they?

  • PrissyPatriot

For sure. I know a high ranking white soldier who said nearly the same thing. He added Obama should be willing to be a one term president and show them what an intelligent, justifiably angry black man is capable of. Of course, like someone said, no doubt he’d be JFK’d.

Those organizations are real, as were the Knights Templar, which also protected pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land before it was destroyed over allegations of heresy. Although I’m not religious I have come to believe that we are in fact engaged in a religious/cultural battle with Islam and that we may need our own true believers, whether atheist or religious, in order to prevail. Despite the failings of the West it’s foolish to deny that we’ve developed something here that deserves to be preserved and, if necessary, defended from the aims and goals of orthodox Muslim religious and political leaders, which is to spread Islam here until it transmogrifies Western culture into something unrecognizable.

I don’t care what color he is just that he is angry/energized enough to take on the abuses of the past 30 years.

Of course any credible action would come without great personal risk to him and his family’s which explains why no one else has stepped forward to mount a challenge to the leaders of the Coup!

This has to be a grass roots movement similar to the TEA Party. It starts with an education campaign that can overcome the MSM censoring. After those in the know reach a critical mass then the elected politicians can act without fear of retribution or assignation, seriously assignation. And no Rep Gifford’s was not out on a limb calling them out but Connell was and so is Sibel Edmonds.
I know that RAW readers understand what has happened and can see the “big picture” but how many of us are willing to put ourselves “out there” and speak out to ALL of our friends and family and risk being labeled a Socialist (a badge of honor IMO) or a Tin foil hatter? We have a responsibility to our families to take on this great challenge and present the FACTS to the non-believes or skeptics for without a concerted effort on the part of the people in the know how do we EVER expect things to change for the better?

These organizations have different levels. Those at the bottom aren’t privy to what goes on at the top. There is a group known as “The Family” that has very deep roots in the U.S. government. Also, other writers have exposed the deep fundamentalist Christian influence on the leadership of the U.S. armed forces. I wouldn’t dismiss Hersch’s claims too quickly.

Most people think of these things as “in the past,” as if centuries of conflict were made irrelevant by TV and modern technological society. The unfortunate truth is that we are already fighting the Third Jihad, a war that is being fought mostly in the cultural and political realms, but with support from the military wing via terrorism.

I’m not sure Opus Dei can exactly be called a “secret society”, and the Knights of Malta is a religious order with some roots in a military tradition. While, as Roman Catholic organizations they are more international than similar religious organizations based in the U.S., and indicate General McCrystal holds socially and politically conservative beliefs, they are no more “secret” than another general’s membership in a Southern Baptist congregation.

No one has actually seen the case he makes or fact-checked it yet. I remember when the government was saying he had it all wrong about Mei Li too. I’m going to read the book when it gets published and not let my ideology form my opinion PRIOR to its publication.

I hope he doesn’t ‘commit suicide’ before he finishes it.

And Opus Dei certainly ceased to be a secret after Dan Brown published “The Da Vinci Code” and Ron Howard made the movie version. I think the news is that eight or nine neocons overthrew the American government is more newsworthy than high-ranking members of the U.S. military are members of O.D. or the Knights of Malta. What exactly do you – or for that matter Seymour – WANT Obama to do? Initiate an investigation of every member of the military to pry into their religious associations – and beliefs – and practices? How’s he supposed to square that without infringing upon their first amendment rights? Want him to start some sort of a sweep through the military, looking to fire anyone who might hold conservative religious views? Uh huh, and how’s that supposed to work? Seymour Hersh hasn’t been the best source of information ALL the time and has way too expansive a view of his own awesomeness. I’ll wait to see just what he has when the article comes out, but so far I have to wonder what his suggestion is for how we’re supposed to “fix” this “problem.”

The conservative religious rot that exists today in the U.S. military (and among private contractors) runs deep, far deeper than I experienced while serving in the U.S. military decades ago, long before some conservatives decided that privatizing our public military for profit was good for our country.

And think on this. This Religious Purity Test, er, um, Spiritual Fitness Test, being administered by the U.S. military, a test forced on service members while they are on active duty, not only is an abomination relative to the U.S. Constitution (no religious test shall ever be required), but also signals anyone interested in volunteering for the U.S. military that they will be subjected to this “religious test,” meaning that some patriotic citizens may decide not to enlist, literally hurting recruitment efforts. How long has this utterly un-Constitutional Religious Purity Test, er, um, Spiritual Fitness Test been administered to our troops? How many vitally-needed Arab language specialists, including American Muslim enlistees, have been subjected to this religious test? Has this singularly-insane and un-Constitutional neo-conservative religious fundamentalist policy been responsible for so many Arab language specialists either leaving the U.S. military or shying away from enlisting in the first place, as well as all the stop-loss, multiple tours that our U.S. military personnel have faced since Bush and Cheney started the Iraq War in 2003?

We know that the House Republicans will NEVER hold hearings into this, but maybe Sen. Harry Reid and Senate Democrats will look into this. And why hasn’t President Obama, as CIC, ordered Gates to stop it, with anyone proposing or administering this un-Constitutional Religious Purity Test being dishonorably discharged, no matter how high in the chain of command, or low? Oh, wait, getting rid of this right-wing religious rot would probably strain our military even more than it is already strained…which is probably what the un-Constitutional religious types had in mind in the first place…get it in place so it will stay in place.

  • WaStConcerned

“God” is God in ALL religions – we humans have taken the initial premise and stamped our own definitions on God depending on the location on this earth at the time the concepts began. There are NO separate Gods – it is ONE.

When religions start realizing that their concept is no morre valid than any other, then the “culture wars” will cease.

Opus Dei, Skull & Bones, Masons….etc. etc. etc. What makes man in general feel superior due to belonging in some “secret society”?

Man is territorial by nature – hence separate countries, separate parties, separate stations…

Too bad we can’t seem to see the same paths to the same ends…..

  • TheDevilCanDance

So what? Scallia is said to be a member of Opus Dei,Former Senator Rick Santorum is a member of Opus Dei.
Clarence Thomas is also suspected of being a member, despite rumors to the contrary.Thomas conversion/return to the Roman Catholic Church was handled by the Opus Dei “priest to the political stars” John McCloskey, with the assistance from Paul Scalia (another OD priest, and son of Justice Scalia).

But even if this is the case, these organizations are not some esoteric criminal cabals depicted in Dan Brown`s moronic books. These are mostly “old white men” private Clubs, just like the Free Masons.

Over the past decade there has been a steady stream of complaints from members of the military who had the temerity to be other than evangelical Protestants or observant Catholics. They have faced harassment, threats, career damage, forced attendance at worship services, proselytizing by superior officers and chaplains. ENOUGH. It must END.

I love how people throw around words like bigot to try and chill debate. I only go by history and by what leading Muslims say today, which is that Islam is the only true faith, that man-made laws mean nothing and only Allah’s law counts, that one day the U.S. will be Islamic and run by sharia law. Muslims are not content to practice their faith in private like every other faith. It’s always about respect Islam and let me wear my scarf and veil and beard even when no one else is allowed. OOOOO don’t draw a picture of our Prophet or we’ll all go bats–t and kill the cartoonist. The poor Muslim actress from Harry Potter had to call the cops because her barbarian brother choked her and threatened to kill her for talking to a non-Muslim boy. I see apostasy in her future for sure. You tell little kids to blow themselves up so they can go to heaven. It is a sick, intolerant, woman-hating, patriarchal system that belongs on the trash-heap of history. It is not bigoted to be against these values. What civilized person would not be??

First of all, it isn’t up to Hersch to suggest a fix. He is a reporter, reporting news that is of concern to thoughtful Americans. Next, “What is Obama supposed to do?” How about provide some leadership? Obviously, a sweep of the military for religious views is not appropriate. But it is also not appropriate for the military to be secretly controlled by religious fanatics looking for a crusade. Obama could provide leadership by acknowledging the danger and supporting the military in policing itself in this matter.

  • Anonymous

These two snippets from the story add some insight when viewed together:

“[Hersh] further claimed that Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Vice Admiral William McRaven and others in the JSOC were members of the “Knights of Malta” and “Opus Dei,” two little known Catholic orders.

“In an email to the military’s Stars and Stripes publication, McChrystal’s spokesman, David Bolger, panned Hersh’s claim.

“The allegations recently made by Seymour Hersh relating to General McChrystal’s involvement with an organization called The Knights of Malta are completely false and without basis in fact,” he reportedly wrote. “General McChrystal is not and has never been a member of that organization.”

Translation: McCrystal is a member of Opus Dei but not of the Knights of Malta.

Good question. From the way the questions and results are worded I’d bet it is graded by computer.

Some of the questions (read on Talk2Action) made me think of a wonderful line in Thomas Berger’s novel Little Big Man: “The settlers are always ragging at the Indians–trying to get them to go to church. What the settlers don’t understand is that an Indian is always in church.”

TAKE NOTE THAT SEYMOUR HERSH IS SPEAKING ABOUT THIS FROM GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY.

GEORGETOWN IS THE UNITED STATES JESUIT MILITARY FORTRESS.

THE JESUITS CONTROL THE VATICAN AS WELL AS BOTH THE KNIGHTS OF MALTA & OPUS DEI & EVERY OTHER SECRET SOCIETY.

THE JESUITS ARE IN FULL CONTROL OF THIS WORLD.

    http://wakeuptothefullconspiracy.blogspot.com/

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_USVFPITFMI5NB36WTYD2IPGEEE Jaimes

The Nazi regime was controlled by the Jesuits (who control the Vatican, every secret society, every government, the world). Hitler came from a Roman Catholic family and praised the Jesuits in Mein Kampf. Hitler was brought to power by Franz von Papen, a Knight of Malta. Himmler (Head of Hitler’s SS) was a Knight of Malta. Goebbels (Head of Hitler’s Propaganda Ministry) was trained at a Jesuit college. Gehlen (Hitler’s Intelligence Chief) was a Knight of Malta. Hitler’s allies were almost exclusively Roman Catholic. They included Franco, who had many Opus Dei members in his government and who kissed the Pope’s hand, and Mussolini, a Knight of Malta who was advised by a Jesuit priest. Another of his allies, Tiso, was a Roman Catholic Priest. Hitler’s financiers (Abs and Thyssen) were Knights of Malta. Hitler said “Above all I have learned from the Jesuits. And so did Lenin too, as far as I recall. The world has never known anything quite so splendid as the hierarchical structure of the Catholic Church. There were quite a few things I simply appropriated from the Jesuits for the Use of the [Nazi] Party.” he also said “In [Heinrich] Himmler [who would become head of the Nazi SS] I see our Ignatius de Loyola [Founder of the Jesuits and the first 'Black Pope']“.

Oh, I see you’re fresh out of ideas, too, except for that very specific “provide some leadership”. Yeah, that explains EXACTLY what Obama’s supposed to do … not. Try answering the question this time (though I know you can’t): what ACTION is Obama supposed to take which addresses this “problem” assuming one exists? Hersh is complaining that he wants an angry black man, so HE’s the one saying he knows the solution. Just what does he want the angry brother to do? Be specific. You want Obama to say what, exactly? Perhaps issue an executive order saying he believes everyone has the right to their religious beliefs but directing that they not join any right-wing cabals? Oh yes, that should go down very well, especially coming from the Kenyan Usurper “Muslin” Jihadist Hitler President. Do tell. Go on, I’m dying to hear your other suggestions.

One, he asserted that the Bush admin was going to attack Iran before they left office. Did not happen. Two, he said he’d seen video footage of American soldiers raping Iraqi children in Abu Ghraib. did not happen. Third, he asserted that 16 AC 130 Gunships attacked Afghanistan during the first days of that war and purposely missed Mullah Omar. But the problem is that not even half the number of those planes were in the region and they don’t fly in formation like that.

Just some of the many signatures of the PNAC statement of principles.

If you recall, during the Clinton years they pleaded and begged for the illegal invasion of Iraq. Clinton wouldn’t bite. Then when the 2000 election was stolen they had their guy in the white house and the rest is history. And now because of their imperial hubris of just pure insanity and a few other reasons, America is a failing empire. These same people want more invasions, Iran for example. Over 17 signatures of the neocon madness were in the Bush administration.
And during the Clinton years many of these same neocons begged him to illegally invade Iraq, Clinton didn’t go for it. Then when they stole the 2000 election they had their guy in the white house and the rest is history. America is in a shithole because of these assholes, the neocon scum are the biggest tyrants in American history.

Many more names are on the lists, just Google PNAC signatures.

It is nothing we didn’t already know, but at least we understand now, why we are paranoid. Why was the illuninati founded? So the middle class could usurp the royal families of Europe. Some escaped to the new world and started their own royal families. These secret organizations want to be the next dynasties to arise.

    Hey ya think…Thanks!
By the way, to what ‘nutty conspiracy theories’ do you refer? Do you think the CIA does not or has not used assets in the media? They had a name for the operation in which they placed and recruited assets for which to gin up propaganda and place disinformation in the national media, it was known as Operation Mockingbird.
Allen Dulles, the first chief of the CIA refered to his people in the news media as The Grand Wurlitzer. I mean I’m not making this stuff up. It comes from CIA declassified documents. It is not some wild eyed ‘Prison Planet’ Alex Jones self serving bullshit.
It is fascinating and I think you might actually find it interesting to study.

When the Muslims took Jerusalem they knew the prophesies of Jesus’ return and tried to negate them. They want the world to be totally Muslim to honor their prophets wishes . We want to help usher in the return of Jesus, and our fundamentalists think it is their job to make it happen.

Having followed Mr. Hersh’s investigative work for more than forty years, he has repeatedly impressed me with his honesty and bravery. We could use hundreds more like him to carry out the Constitutionally assigned job of watchdog over our government.
There is no doubt in my mind that while there may or may not have been a silent take over of the military by religious radicals, the effect has been the same. Religious minorities are finding that their career paths are being blocked, policy is being over influenced by biblical tunnel vision, and we are being robbed of the inherent advantages using a diversity of thinking to achieve our goals.
In my humble opinion, we need to discover who these people are and route them out of the military. They would be much more helpful if they preached at their own congregations, They might be surprised to learn that our military was not intended to be the recruiter for religious zealots. Quite the opposite is true.
My hat comes off for you, Mr. Hersch, one more time.

Why are these cults called orders? They are nothing more than radical spinoffs of the larger cult.Their members are as radical and as fanatical as Kersh, Doe, Phelps and Jones. Goodness, appears I’m dealing with someone too literal minded to know snark when he sees it. Let me explain it so that even someone as simple and literal as you can understand it: I was using the terms commonly used by our domestic terrorists to describe our President as a way of noting that there is NOTHING Obama can do about this supposed cabal without evidence of actual criminal or subversive action, and any such effort on his part would be strongly, perhaps violently, opposed by those who think he’s a bad guy already. Belonging to a conservative religious group is no more cause for investigating and possibly cashiering a serving officer than, say, his belonging to a group of outspoken atheists.

This is where the equivalency argument always comes in….there’s no difference at all between them etc ..I beg to differ. The vast majority of Jews and Christians have relegated the more medieval and primitive parts of their holy books to the area of cultural practices we no longer do because we have become civilized. It seems to me by the things they say and do that a much, much smaller percentage of Muslims have been willing to cast off those things. They still adhere to the letter of a book composed 1400 years ago, and they are proud of it, calling muslims who reject those things apostates or bad Muslims. It is not the same. A lot of Shias cut themselves and let their kids cut themselves in a bizarre blood ritual. Pathetic. I’m simply saying I don’t want to see this primitive, cliquish bullshit come to the US in any way.

Of course money and greed is part of it. Religion is a means of controlling people. People respond to religion for different reasons. There are some people who are comforted by a “god”. It makes them feel some one is in control of their lives. Some people are just afraid not to believe in god and man made religion. People who don’t believe are the ones that see right thru all of this bunk. People who watch faux news are so happy to go along to get along because it is so much easier to let some one else do their thinking for them. By the time they all wake up it will be too late and will be asking how did this happen? It happened all in the name of the lord!

One of the readers question why they call these Cults Orders, that is easy. You see the sanctimonious christian evokes the jesus christ and the book of fairy tales aka as the bible , the Foundation of Lies,Deceit, Murder Hatred and Ignorance.
Might I draw your attention to the First Lie and quickly endorsed by the Hate and Fear Mongers, I do apologize as their is very little information on her however what is there is enough to question the the validity of the anal sanctimonious christian.

Lilith was Adams FIRST wife, remember the book of fairy tales states that Adam and Lilith were made at the same time, now since SHE was EQUAL to ADAM and REFUSED his advances the Clown complained to their maker, Now here is the Twist, She used the alleged “Lords” name 3x, then TOLD the maker she would NOT comply (hee, hee), the maker tried to persuade her to think otherwise, he sent Three Angels to ask her to change er mind again she REFUSED, so the alleged Lord told her X amount of children would die until she returned (she didn’t). So the hahaha,Almighty now allegedly takes a RIB (hey its in the book of Fairy tales) and Makes EVE. Yup, to be SUBSERVEANT and to OBEY ADAM, wonder WHY the churches Hate this TRUTH so much. Anyway later on LILITH was made into a Demon and scorned you guessed it by the Church to keep WOMEN Subservient. Hey in its rush to make sure WOMEN stayed bare foot Pregnant and in the kitchen notice on research how the Hate and Fear mongering religions kept escalating her horror. One last point Adam went to LILITH after Cain slew Able and he lived with her for a period of 130 years, so now if any one wants to check FACT against Fiction you’ll understand WHY the Major Religions HATE and Fear WOMEN. You also have better understanding why the Hate and Fear mongers call their beliefs a Order and NON Believers a Cult, its all about Hate and FEAR

Those that are interested in Lilith will find it hard to find a lot of information as the early churches made sure she was just about eliminated from all text, if she wasn’t such a THREAT why did the early Hate and Fear mongers work so hard to DEMONIZE her. I offer present day mind bending and doctrine as Proof these COWARDS are afaid of any thing different to include WOMEN. So now you can understand why Hate and Fear mongering reilgions want to be called Orders and anything different is called a cult.

  • http://thepoliticalbandit.com/ William Cormier

It reveals even more of the government’s refusal to separate church and state. Where the hell is the ACLU when crap like this happens??? This is right up their alley. ANY soldier that has been referred to the “Chaplain” because they are “spiritually unfit” has the grounds for a Federal Civil Rights Suit.

This makes me wonder if those that were accused of murdering Afghan’s were “spiritually fit” or if they were otherwise undesirable. The rule of law and the constitution are being trampled upon again – and who will stand up to help us force those in Washington to respect the law and precedents that govern this area of government that is constantly being violated?.

Clearly there are different sorts using the name christian. I posit that one cannot at once be christian and make war of conquest as we are doing in the middle east. It contradicts the teachings of the Palestinian carpenter whose teachings the christian religion is based on. Send soldier to kill Afghans with gunsights that have a bible verse on them? This is closer to Orwellian than christian.

The problem is that we only get to vote once every few years.
A real democracy would have us voting an the issues rather than the people.
We have the internet now. The system could be far more ‘of the people’ if ‘They’ wanted.

There are plenty of ways to give the people a bigger voice. But giving more power to the people means taking it from ‘them’. And they love their power too much.

    Most definitely…
It is well known that the Nazi government ties to the Vatican run deep. Hitlers ties to the Vatican first became official with the concordat of 1933 he then set up his government to resemble the Vatican’s hierarchic structure. The German SS was packed with Jesuits and Hitler met regularly with the Pope. When the Nazi government fell the Vatican provided an escape route, disguises and credentials for the Nazis safe passage.

I am very sensitive to that kind of stuff after reading a book that was written by a former Jesuit, Edmond Paris. His book, The Secret History of the Jesuits, details the way the Vatican molded history to suit it’s needs… A good read.

I wonder if these secretive cults foster insanity. I’ll bet they do, by forcing people to give up their personal psychological independence. They do this for power, and what do we get as a result? Crazy people in charge. Maybe Julian Assange is correct about humanity’s need for radical transparency at this time.

“This Religious Purity Test, er, um, Spiritual Fitness Test, being administered by the U.S. military, a test forced on service members while they are on active duty, not only is an abomination relative to the U.S. ”

Do you believe over 20 years ago they could get by with the destruction of our constitution , bill of rights , democracy while transferring our wealth and power to this select group.

You know, it’s ironic and sad that it is only those on the outside – such as yourself – looking in that can see the madness that lays within the walls of this giant lunatic asylum known as the US of A.

A few weeks ago, I was talking to an old friend who was relating to me the mob scene at the supermarket. It was during the snowstorm that stranded the NY Metro area. She said that people were yelling and abusing the cashiers and she couldn’t understand why people were so nasty when it wasn’t the cashier’s fault. I told her that what she witnessed that day was only the beginning. The worst is yet to come.

Its fairly simple, but I’ll try to dumb it down for you. In 2000 or 2001, George Bush said (quote from memory) “Just because a person is poor or has bad credit is no reason a person should not live in a house as nice as anyone else’s.” He then went on to discuss how The pseudo governmental agencies Fanny and Freddy would back what were essentially risky loans. This , of course is redistribution from the haves to have nots at it’s finest. Responsibility averted, it was no wonder that banks would embark to give loans at no risk to themselves. normally, fear of failure helps prevent such irresponsible behavior. But backed by congress and signed by bush this social tinkering created the travesty that free markets alone would have left more largely undistorted. Then of course was the, too big to fail, nonsense. large central government is no friend to the people. It makes promises to the heart, that have no practical application, but for an amassing of power to oneself.

Yeah, I know the Fabian Society still exists in the Labour party, but socialists certainly don’t. Therefore there are no Fabian Socialists in the Labour party, only members of the Fabian Society, therefore “Fabian Socialist” is a contradiction in terms. (And the Fabians were never really that Socialist anyway.) And to my knowledge, George W Bush was never a member of the Fabian Society, much a less a socialist, so calling him a Fabian Socialist is quite frankly bizzarre. Exactly what did the polices of the Bush administration and the Fabian society have in common?

  • Anonymous

Well, that’s an interesting theory, but it still has bugger all all to do with being a “Fabian Socialist” as you previously claimed George W Bush was.

Mind you, being a member of the Fabian Society these days has bugger all to do with being a Socialist either.

For a while now, I’ve been tracking what I feel is a unique Amerikan phenomenon, the mass shootings. I’m thinking of writing an article on the subject and compare it to the canard du jour “terrorism” – Something nobody seems to have done. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t spot in the corporate media at least one shooting. And it’s never one or two, it’s multiples. Today, it was a mother who shut her 3 children (and even the family dog) before doing herself in. The madness is rampant and common place. Yet, you see them all taking off their underwear at the airport & letting the TSA goons sexually molest them so that they can feel “safe” when they get on that plane. If the plane doesn’t crash due to the shabby maintenance performed by that mechanic in Mexico or Honduras who just got 2 bucks a day to work on their plane, they’re likely to get shot by some nut when they get off it. Yet, watch ‘em all go nuts and into voluntary servitude when they hear the word “terrorist” just like Pavlov’s dogs. Shameful!

Divide and Conquer pick a side it doesn’t matter because they control ALL of them. Get a clue already. Even if they look different they both have the same goal. WORLD DOMINATION

    Hi brentjones911.

Socialism and communism are far from the same thing. But if Obama was either, he’d be a real cool guy, wouldn’t you think? Unfortunately he’s a prostitute for the financial elite, so neither applies.

Fascist and Nazi aren’t exactly the same either, but it is true Prescott Bush’s bank helped finance Hitler through Fritz Thyssen.

Hitler, however, wasn’t a socialist. Nazism, look it up on Wikipedia, is as follows:

“Nazism presented itself as politically syncretic, incorporating policies, tactics and philosophies from right- and left-wing ideologies; in practice, Nazism was a far right form of politics”

Hitler was rabidly anti-communist. And that, my ignorant friend, is exactly why Prescott Bush financed the mofo. This is also why Prescott Bush was involved in the Business Plot and why he was involved in the assassination of blossoming leftist John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Due to the lies of pseudohistorian hack Jonah Goldberg, the American extreme right seeks to offend Europe by claiming Hitler was a socialist. Hitler was no more a socialist than the DDR was democratic. You need to understand the difference between ‘Nazi’ and ‘Sozi’. Socialists and communists were exterminated in concentration camps along with the Jews.

It’s your meager and inadequate American education and the lying American right wing extremist media that give you these mistaken impressions. That’s not my fault =)

There is no left in America; only right and extreme right. Alex Jones and Jason Bermas aren’t historians; they’re right wingers who are upset about their own political philosophy but don’t understand it yet.

    Regards, w000t

True, they could be using religion, but I think they actually believe it, and are operating from a medieval imperialistic feudal consciousness, at least these Catholic extremists he mentions.

Definitely agree with you regarding the team mentality they have herded alot of us in. Next time there is a sports game on, observe the fans for a a few seconds (that is all you will need). They jump around like animals cursing the players from the opposing team.

Yet when those same people see people being butchered, raped and tortured in their homes, they become apathetic to it all. It truly is THE mental disoprder of the 21st century.

I AM THE LORD THY GOD….. THOU SHALT NOT HAVE STRANGE GODS BEFORE ME…. this goes for all the thousands of false religions and cults that have sprung up since the crucifixion of the God-Man Jesus Christ. There is only One God, The Most Holy Trinity and the Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail against His One True Church.

  • hounddogg

all religions are false, there is no magic sky faerie…all the people of the earth have to suffer because of this ‘my “god is better than your god ” rhetoric..please…keep your religion to yourself…if i want to be preached to, i will go to a church…

Brent did not define socialism or nazism so correcting him is not necessary. His statement of them being the same relates to the concept that being for either/or doesn’t matter because in brent’s words “Even if they look different they both have the same goal.”

We all lose if either wins. Their existence is a sham perpetrated by those that would divide opinion (and distract our energies), and conquer (steal and self enrich).
