The higher unemployment rate is a result of GOP policies. The unemployment rate stopped climbing, and new jobless claims dropped off, around the time Obama’s economic policies went into effect. The stimulus created or save millions of jobs, and the cash for clunkers program was the most successful economic stimulus program in history. It Hawk is right, more jobs have been created under Obama in two years than under Bush in 8 years. The Bush years were terrible for the economic growth even before the crash.

Believe me, everyone was hoping that Tarrell Clark would win. I know there are others out there who are not wealthy and if they have a job, they are hanging on just like I am and I’ve been out of work now for 2 years. I was laid off by Target when they shipped my IT job to Target India. And, I think alot of those executives live in that district. If she actually tries to run for the Senate against Amy Klobuchar, it could be tough for Amy. The only advantage that Amy has over Michelle Bachmann is that Amy was actually the Hennepin County Prosecutor and had to handle alot of crap, I’m sure. I don’t think Michelle would know what to do. I don’t know but I would think because Amy has a much stronger education than Bachmann might end up killing Bachmann but I have my doubts – I just don’t trust Bachmann.

Since the voting age now, you need to be 18 to be eligible to vote. Voter turnout on the democratic tickets didn’t do very well because alot of people who normally vote, decided to not vote at all. This is not the first time in the US history of elections. Getting people to go to the election polls is a major problem these days. Alot of disabled and elderly people have a hard time getting to the polls to actually vote. When I was disabled, I made sure that I got an absentee ballot because at the trime, I couldn’t walk very far. It’s really got to be a community effort to get the vote out. Of course the corporatists wiho killed ACORN, think that they have the upper hand now. They don’t because most of them are drunk with their millions and billions of dollars so they thnk they control everything. That’s my opinion.
