Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, the Director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City and host of the PBS series NOVA Science Now, told his interviewer that people like Fox News host Bill O’Reilly reduce God to “an ever-receding pocket of scientific ignorance that’s getting smaller and smaller and smaller as time goes on.”

This video is from The Science Network’s A Conversation about Communicating Science, uploaded January 20, 2011.
