Former judge Mark Ciavarella faces a prison sentence of up to ten years for sending hundreds of children and teenagers to a private prison for minor crimes–in exchange for money by the company that ran the private prison.

Some of the children were as young as ten. An enraged mother, whose son committed suicide after Ciavarella sent him to prison, confronts Ciavarella outside the courthouse.

This video is from ABC News, broadcast February 21, 2011.
