The violence and protests in Libya continue to rage on, leaving hundreds dead and wounded in the wake of what some are calling a genocide situation.

Sunday, troops loyal to Muammar Gaddafi launched a counter-offensive against rebel towns, using tanks, helicopters and heavy artillery to hold back protestors.

Storyful’s Ed Rice has compiled video taken at street level into a horrifying highlight reel of sorts, featuring burning flags, tanks, bullet-riddled cars and a constant chorus of gunfire.

This video does not contain graphic content.
