A Marine Corps. helicopter crashed in the shallow waters of Kaneohe Bay, off the shore of Hawaii Tuesday night, according to Navy Times. Four crew members were injured in the crash Tuesday evening, and CNN reported on-air Wednesday afternoon that one died.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the extent of the injuries to the hospitalized crew members is unknown. Base personnel said the chopper went out on a training flight at 7 p.m., and a mayday call was received at 7:20 p.m.
