Budget negotiators differ by $6.5 billion

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Congressional negotiators on Friday differed by $6.5 billion in their efforts to agree on the size of spending cuts in budget talks aimed at avoiding a government shutdown, a Republican aide said.
