Update: Politico is now reporting that Stewart has agreed to appear with O’Reilly on Monday.

Reacting to Jon Stewart’s fierce takedown of Fox News’s attacks on rapper Common, opinion host Bill O’Reilly challenged The Daily Show‘s patron to a debate on the conservative channel.

Yes, this means their manufactured controversy will live on for yet another week. Whether he will accept O’Reilly’s challenge remains to be seen, but every time Stewart has appeared on Fox News it has made for great TV … And that’s a powerful argument for any media professional, no matter their political leanings.

Do you think Jon Stewart should accept? Vote in our poll below the video.
