UK doctors performing ‘Botox boob job’

Not just for firming the cheeks and foreheads of the wealthy anymore, researchers have found a new — still cosmetic — use for Botox: Lifting and firming saggy breasts.

The so-called Botox boob job is currently only offered in the UK, according to mid-day.com, but its relatively low price and lack of recovery time mean demand for the procedure is rising. Instead of injecting the drug into the muscles, as is traditionally done, doctors inject Botox into the skin around and under the breasts after applying an anesthetic. The effect, they say, is and instantly firmed and lifted chest.

“There’s no pain, no bruising and no downtime. You can put on your clothes and go straight back to work afterwards,” Dr. Cecilia Tregear, an anti-aging specialist who performs the procedure, said.
