Republican pizza CEO ‘raising Cain’ with odd campaign music video
How many words rhyme with “Cain”?
If “pain” was one of the first to spring to mind, then perhaps you’ve already seen the new presidential campaign video by former pizza CEO Hermain Cain.
Homespun in the purest sense of the word, footage shows the Republican longshot candidate pitching himself as a black conservative who has “left the Democrat plantation.”
Meanwhile, country western singers try to rhyme as many words as possible with “Cain.” But they mostly just keep saying “Cain.”
As in: “Raising Cain,” and getting on the “Cain train.”
Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, had less than 1 percent support from GOP voters in a Gallup survey last month. His surge since then can be partly explained by a strong showing in the first Republican debate and a high positive intensity score among voters who have heard of him.
Cain has also served on the executive boards of Coca Cola and Pillsbury, and oversaw the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He has never held elected office.
