The American Civil Liberties Union released a video Friday featuring comedian Elon James White that urges Americans to support ending the “failed” war on drugs.

In the video, White notes that the creators of the critically-acclaimed TV series The Wire would release another season of the show if U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder ended drug prohibition.

“Just think about it,” White says. “The best television show to ever be put on TV can be put back. All we have to do is stop wasting money on a failed war that even the Global Commission on Drug Policy has said has failed.”
