JERUSALEM (Reuters) – At least six people were killed when gunmen attacked a number of vehicles traveling in southern Israel on Thursday, a spokesman for the Magen David Adom ambulance service said.

Israel’s military added in a statement: “Terrorists fired at a bus on its way to (the city of) Eilat and fired an anti-tank rocket at another vehicle. At the same time, a military patrol hit an explosive device.”
