Fox Business host Eric Bolling questioned Tuesday why Texas congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul blamed the United States for the September 11 terrorist attacks.

“Comments like that make some think that Ron Paul is out where the buses don’t run, and I’d be one of those as well,” he said.

Paul was booed at the CNN/Tea Party Republican debate after saying that al Qaeda did not attack the United States because “we’re free,” but because of U.S. military operations in the Middle East and the nation’s “unfair” treatment of Palestinians.

When Bolling asked Congressman Charlie Rangel (D-NY) about Paul’s comments, he said that not many people even knew who Paul was and then completely dodged the question by talking about Obama.

“He is generally fantastic, until he starts prattling on and on about legalizing drugs, prostitution, and blaming America for 9/11,” another guest on the show, Human Events editor Jason Mattera, said. “Then he sounds like a crazed loony leftist.”
