David Shuster slams conservative media for Muslim bashing
Current TV host David Shuster on Friday decried the Islamophobia propagated by conservative media outlets after a Muslim man, Rezwan Ferdaus, was arrested on charges of planning to fly explosive-packed, remote controlled airplanes into the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol.
“On some right wing talk radio shows and Internet blogs, the Ferdaus news has prompted some bashing, ‘Muslims hate America, they support terrorism,’ and on and on and on,” he said. “The lies and Islamophobia have been on display in conservative media for years.”
