One person not pleased with Sen. Scott Brown’s comments on Elizabeth Warren’s appearance is Nancy Pelosi.
In an interview with Christiane Amanpour on ABC’s This Week, the House Minority Leader addressed several issues, from supporting President Barack Obama’s jobs bill to slamming Eric Cantor for his comments criticizing the Occupy movements.
Amanpour then turned her attention towards the Massachusetts senator’s comments about Warren. The Harvard professor was asked in last week’s Massachusetts Democratic primary debate how she paid for law school in comparison to Brown posing nude for Cosmo.
Warren responded: “I kept my clothes on.” When asked his thoughts about what she said in a radio interview, Brown laughed and replied, “Thank God.”
Pelosi thought Brown would regret making that statement.
“Really I thought it spoke volumes about how clueless Senator Brown is,” she said. “That really spoke volumes about really disrespect for women that he may not even realize. I bet you he would like to take that comment back.”
