MSNBC host Rachel Maddow on Thursday night responded to Koch Industries after the energy giant criticized her blog on its public relations website KochFacts.com.

Last week, writer Laura Conaway mocked Koch Industries for its job posting. The posting said: “For those concerned about jobs, Koch has some good news: it’s looking to fill more than 1,240 jobs across the country.”

But groups funded primarily by the billionaire conservative Koch brothers had strongly opposed Obama’s American Jobs Act, despite the fact that approximately 14 million people are currently unemployed.

“That comes out to 20,967 people for every available listing at Koch Industries,” Conaway noted.

In response, KochFacts.com said that MSNBC only had ten job openings.
