A reporter was arrested at “Occupy Nashville” Saturday morning despite telling police he was a member of the media.

Jonathan Meador, a reporter for the Nashville Scene, twice told the officer who arrested him, “I’m a member of the media.”

Despite that plea, state troopers charged Meador with public intoxication, although they didn’t administer a Breathalyzer or blood test on him.

On Friday morning, 29 Occupy Nashville protesters were arrested by police.
