Ultra conservative radio host Bryan Fischer told listeners of his show Monday evening that if Mitt Romney won the GOP presidential nomination, it would be “the end of the Republican Party.”

Fischer, who has been known to raise eyebrows with his peculiar statements, slammed the former Massachusetts governor repeatedly and thinks President Obama would prefer to run against Romney over anyone else.

“They’re going to go after him as a flip-flopper, as a governor with a windsock.” he said. “One of the reason why they hope Romney wins the nomination is because they believe it will take Obamacare off the table. Obamacare is Romneycare with three extra zero’s. If Gov. Romney is selected, it will be the end of the Republican Party as a political force.”
