News helicopters caught this video of state troopers on Arizona chasing a runaway Yorkie down a busy highway on foot.

According to ABC News, the upset pooch began running down the road after its owner’s car was involved in a traffic accident.

Two officers dismounted their motorcycles and began chasing the tiny, evasive dog.

Martin Bennett, a 6 ft 10 inch Department of Public Safety officer, finally caught up with the Yorkie.

“The jokes are already rolling in,” he told KNXV-TV. “I’m sure this will be mentioned at my retirement party years from now. I was just happy to get the dog and get him to safety.”
