Long before he became the President of the United States, Barack Obama made his first television appearance while he was the editor at Harvard University’s Law Review, over 20 years ago in a Black History Month segment for Turner Broadcasting Station (TBS).

The future leader of the free world’s segment was on civil rights lawyer Charles Hamilton Houston, who was a key figure in the Supreme Court’s landmark 1954 case of Brown v. Board of Education.
