In the mind of Pat Robertson, macaroni and cheese is exclusively just for African-Americans.
The 700 Club host shared his interesting perspective and curiosity Wednesday morning, asking co-host Kristi Watts (who is black) about the famous dish after her interview with Condoleezza Rice revealed that the former Secretary of State said it was her favorite Thanksgiving dish.
“What is this ‘mac and cheese,’ is that a black thing?” Robertson asked.
“It is a black thing, Pat,” Watts replied. “Listen, and you guys, other people, the world neeeds to get on board with mac and cheese. Christmas and Thanksgiving, we have to have macaroni and cheese, and it trips me out that you guys don’t.”
But that testimony didn’t budge Robertson from coming closer to having this, ‘black’ meal.
“I don’t, and I have never,” he said.
