
A Nashville recording artist, who finished second on last season’s American Idol, made a serious fumble before the Green Bay vs. Detroit football game Thanksgiving night.
Lauren Alaina started off her rendition of the anthem strong, but trailed off into silence after, “What so proudly we hailed, through the twi…”
“Whose broad stripes and bright stars…,” the country music star continued after a few seconds that must have seemed like an eternity.
“I’m not a robot,” Alaina later tweeted. “I have No excuses. I messed up. You know what can ya do? At least didn’t fall down again.”
Earlier in the day, American Idol winner Scotty McCreery had a lip-syncing malfunction at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
