The woman who reportedly used pepper spray on fellow Black Friday shoppers at a Los Angeles’ Wal-Mart has turned herself in.

According to CBS affiliate KCAL, the woman turned herself into LAPD officers Friday evening. The incident came as crowds were in line to buy a new XBox 360.

At least 20 shoppers suffered minor injuries, with more than half treated for pepper spray inhalation.

“It was a burning feeling in my throat for me,” shopper Juan Castro said. “There was a lot of people who got it in their eyes. They were burning, they were screaming, crying.”

In a statement defending the company in the midst of another year of wild Black Friday incidents, Wal-mart issued a statement.

“It was an unfortunate situation but we’re glad everyone is okay,” the statement said. “We are working with law enforcement to provide security video and information.”
