Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain on Monday preemptively denied having a 13-year-long affair with Atlanta woman Ginger White.

Before an Atlanta FOX affiliate’s report was even able to air the allegations, Cain appeared on CNN to claim the accusations were false.

“This individual’s going to accuse me of an affair for an extended period of time. I don’t want to specify because I don’t know what’s in the story,” Cain said. “Through my attorney, we will respond to every detail and every allegation.”

He claimed the woman was an acquaintance of his, but denied having an affair.

“The accusations I had a 13-year affair with her, no,” Cain said.

“It is someone that I know who is an acquaintance that I thought was a friend,” he explained.

Cain previously denied allegations of sexual harassment leveled against him by four women and said the allegations would not force him to abandon his campaign for president.
