Just in time for the holiday season, Frosty the Snowman has transformed from a Christmas cartoon star to a shady character with a police record.
52-year-old Kevin Michael Walsh, who said he has dressed up as the famous snowman for 10 years, was arrested by Chestertown, Maryland police this past weekend. According to ABC Maryland/Washington D.C. affiliate WJLA, Walsh was accused of kicking a dog and scuffling with police.
“I never touched the dog,” he says. “I might have faked a kick.”
Despite the misdemeanor charges, Walsh hopes that he could still one day be seen as the lovable Frosty the Snowman.
“I’d like to be the snow man again because I’ve done such a good job all these years,” he said.
