Texas Gov. Rick Perry unveiled his third campaign advertisement on Thursday, in which the presidential hopeful pokes fun at himself for his debate gaffes.

The 30-second ad begins with a clip of Perry during the CNBC Republican presidential debate, where he tried to name the three federal departments he’d eliminate but repeatedly failed to name the third.

“You know, we’ve all lost our train of thought before, but not many have done it on national TV,” Perry then says in the ad. “If you want a slick debater, I’m obviously not your guy. But if you want a clean house in Washington with a balanced budget amendment, a flat tax and a part time Congress, I’m your man.”

“I’m Rick Perry and — what’s that line again?” the ad concludes.

He will be appearing Thursday night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The ad will appear in the pivotal caucus state of Iowa before and after the show, according to the Texas Tribune.
