Last night’s Colbert Report opened with host Stephen Colbert’s assessment of Hermain Cain’s “reassessment” of his campaign. Colbert believes that Cain is “on a roll” because he hasn’t had a new scandal in at least 36 hours. In spite of his belief in the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO, though, it looks as if the Cain Train may be making its final stops.

Nonetheless, a lone voice has risen to defend the embattled presidential hopeful, that of Arizona state senator and Cain campaign staffer Lori Klein who says that to her, Cain has “never been anything but a gentleman, and I am not an unattractive woman”. Which is obviously the only character reference we need to determine that all these charges against him are just smears launched by jealous Republicans and the Liberal Media.
