One angry interview a day is apparently not enough for billionaire Donald Trump.

Appearing on MSNBC Monday morning, Trump excoriated host Chuck Todd for suggesting the real estate mogul had requested the segment to respond to a new NBC poll.

“I didn’t call you, so you’re statement is false, “Trump yelled at Todd. “You said, quote, ‘Donald Trump wanted to respond to a poll.’ Well, I didn’t want to respond. Your people called my office about 40 times asking me to go on the show. So it’s dishonest what you’re saying Chuck. I wish you would just sort of say it like it is. I think you would do better honesty, and I think you would get better ratings.”

The feisty interview continued with Trump taking another shot at Jon Huntsman, saying the former Utah governor called his office several times to set up a meeting.

“I didn’t have a meeting with him,” Trump said. “And then he went on the debate and said, ‘I didn’t meet with Mr. Trump like everybody else in the room.” So I’m sure he will tell the truth on that because he is a Mormon.”

The Huntsman campaign told Business Insider this past weekend, and Think Progress Monday morning, that Trump’s claim was false.

“You’ll be surprised to find out that it’s Mr. Trump who is not telling the truth,” the Huntsman campaign said. “We never requested a meeting. We are focused on issues that matter not presidential apprentice.”

Trump also had strong words for Karl Rove, who called Trump’s involvement with high level politics “trivial,” suggesting on Fox & Friends that getting his reality show renewed had played into his decisions.

“Karl Rove gave us George Bush, and George Bush crashed and burned, and because of that, we have Obama,” Trump said. “The Republicans have to get rid of Karl Rove and get first blood, because Karl Rove is going to lead them into doom.”
